Why the hell doesn't microsoft put Halo 2 up in the dashboard to download like they did with Halo: CE and do with 360 games? Then dedicate some servers so we can play Halo 2!

Well, Halo 1 Anniversary only had 5 maps, one Halo 2 map and one firefight map, FOR REACH. I thought a "Fully remastered" remake would have all the maps. It's just a reskin. It's only going to a have a limited number of maps if it does come out. And if it does, it won't be Halo 2's matchmaking.
If you want Halo 2's matchmaking, then get Halo 2 Vista.

All the Halos were amazing in their own respect, they all have powerful story lines and balanced/fair gameplay. It is not a competition as to which Halo is the best, the entire franchise is incredible.

Just gaze and wonder. This track brings me to another world- and it just so happens that it plays when we are on "High Charity" another world (the covenant's) :)
I see a very depressing image of a ruined city when i hear this. large office towers and apartments abandoned and dark, several on fire, partially or completely collapsed. the air full of brimstone, the sun shining through a smoke filled sky. police cruisers with their lights on with the officers dead nearby trying to protect the citizens who's bodies remain scattered around. children's swings creak in the silence, a small child, still clutching their teddy in the smouldering ruins of their city
idk why, but this song really reminds me of the past good times D: like when my grandmother used to make parties then she pasted away. Its so sad listening to this song :(

I've been a huge fan of the entire franchise since the beginning, and I think that Halo Reach's music was just as strong and groundbreaking as each other game respectively. You have to understand that, since it was a prequel, it needed to have a completely different approach musically. And I thought Marty and Michael did an outstanding job of capturing the essence of the story in their score.

@Edude117 343 is the moste of the crew behind halo 1, (combat evolved) so bungie is not directly in it, but its the same crew, hopefully its better than halo 3, halo 2 and 3 was ok havent played reach and wars, but still i would say that i think halo 4 and the re-do of the first is gonna be better than the 3rd, also, its why they wantet to make the first game agein, course its basically the same people. so yea bungie still lives in the background.

And it's not primarily made out of Bungie people. It's primarily made out of people from other studios - Pandemic, Retro, Blizzard, etc. And the Narrative Designer was Cinematic Designer in Mass Effect 2.

I hope they make you play as the master chief on the forrunner world, and then, theres other parts to the campaign where you play as the arbiter hunting down the remians of the covenant with the other sanghelli (elites).
@JITTERdUdEepic True. Though I wouldn't like to play as the Arbiter in Halo 4. I somehow feel they wouldn't pull it off well. What I'd like is for them to introduce a new and awesome cast of characters, and one primary villian who is killed off in Halo 4. In Halo 5 onwards to 6, characters start meeting their tragic fates, and the primary villian of Halo 4 returns - alive - as a playable character even as a bigger, more evil threat makes itself known.

@JITTERdUdEepic Mate, Halo 5 and 6 were confirmed along with Halo 4. It's going to be called the Reclaimer Trilogy. So if Halo 4 is bad we can only hope 5 will be better. 343 have planned this as a trilogy from the start, so my guess is the story and character development will be better paced and more consistent than the original trilogy (not that I'm saying the story and characters weren't good. They were.).
So it'd make sense to have a storyline specifically planned to span 3 games.

This isn't peaceful, this is the music that represents the death and slaughtering of thousands of misguided soldiers in a war, it represents hopelessness and sadness, the things going through a soldier's mind as his comrades fall around him until it's just him and a few others to stand against what seemed like a unstoppable enemy, until he musters up the courage to take aim with him weapon, and shoot down every enemy within range until he runs out of ammo and is next to fall.

Some may interpret that this song is about the "final rest" and the peace that comes along side it. Others might view it as a solemn song about immense loss. Not much peace there, the context of the music and where it is played normally represents the composer's true interpretation and what he expects others to think of it. I don't see how you can see this as a peaceful piece of music, I compare it to the deaths and wounded cries of the men who face gainst all odds just to be killed, forgotten about and thats about it.

@Edude117 343 is the moste of the crew behind halo 1, (combat evolved) so bungie is not directly in it, but its the same crew, hopefully its better than halo 3, halo 2 and 3 was ok havent played reach and wars, but still i would say that i think halo 4 and the re-do of the first is gonna be better than the 3rd, also, its why they wantet to make the first game agein, course its basically the same people. so yea bungie still lives in the background.

Unless you're saying that I've been misinformed and there are actually a rather large amount of famous Bungie faces in 343, which is great anyway.
And it's not primarily made out of Bungie people. It's primarily made out of people from other studios - Pandemic, Retro, Blizzard, etc. And the Narrative Designer was Cinematic Designer in Mass Effect 2.

@DaAwesome1Again Either way, Halo 4 might be a good game considering that people from Bungie are part of it. I hope they make you play as the master chief on the forrunner world, and then, theres other parts to the campaign where you play as the arbiter hunting down the remians of the covenant with the other sanghelli (elites).

@JITTERdUdEepic True. Though I wouldn't like to play as the Arbiter in Halo 4. I somehow feel they wouldn't pull it off well. What I'd like is for them to introduce a new and awesome cast of characters, and one primary villian who is killed off in Halo 4. In Halo 5 onwards to 6, characters start meeting their tragic fates, and the primary villian of Halo 4 returns - alive - as a playable character even as a bigger, more evil threat makes itself known.

@JITTERdUdEepic Mate, Halo 5 and 6 were confirmed along with Halo 4. It's going to be called the Reclaimer Trilogy. So if Halo 4 is bad we can only hope 5 will be better. 343 have planned this as a trilogy from the start, so my guess is the story and character development will be better paced and more consistent than the original trilogy (not that I'm saying the story and characters weren't good. They were.).
So it'd make sense to have a storyline specifically planned to span 3 games.

This isn't peaceful, this is the music that represents the death and slaughtering of thousands of misguided soldiers in a war, it represents hopelessness and sadness, the things going through a soldier's mind as his comrades fall around him until it's just him and a few others to stand against what seemed like a unstoppable enemy, until he musters up the courage to take aim with him weapon, and shoot down every enemy within range until he runs out of ammo and is next to fall.

Some may interpret that this song is about the "final rest" and the peace that comes along side it. Others might view it as a solemn song about immense loss. Either way, this song is beautiful and is a pleasure to listen to as you fall asleep :)

@purpletravisty Yet the song plays at a part of the game where grunts and elites are being slaughtered at high charity by the brutes? Not much peace there, the context of the music and where it is played normally represents the composer's true interpretation and what he expects others to think of it. I don't see how you can see this as a peaceful piece of music, I compare it to the deaths and wounded cries of the men who face gainst all odds just to be killed, forgotten about and thats about it.
