The earstems aren't break away, which has saved my M-frames twice, and the nosepiece is part of the frame. It's going to get broken eventually, and then you have to replace the whole frame. Why change it? No good reason other than to be different. Do not want.

True they look like M frames but they have more of a sturdy, durable feel. They are still light as hell, have all the right features, and they look like shades from the future. The air vents really work, and come in handy when bombing Haleakala down Skyline and Mamane

I didn't really like them. They look a lot like the M-Frames, and the M-Frames remind of a 80's baseball player.

Have to disagree with you, if it was only about function, why did they come out with new shades? They "function" just the same as any other shades in their sport line. It is about fashion.
