  • So a camera can record video? WOW ...amazing brah..

  • yeah, and that battery will last, what a day? for $300 its a piece of crap

  • Hey lamer, sup.

  • Battery life is est @ 1 year — NO KIDDING! And they now have an official iPhone app. Also expandable to 50 cameras. This is what I've been waiting for! Can't wait to get mine, everyone who has one seems to love it.

  • what is the battery life???

  • battery life???

  • Nice reviews Chris.

It would be a plus if you could cover more techy details like batteries, does it encrypt video wireless, and over the net, resolution, refresh rate, lux sensitivity, that kind of stuff. Peace.

  • not very good, i bet i can run past that thing and it wont get me

  • Hey Chris, i understand how you give out these coupons to your community, but I as part of your community cannot use them as I am from England, maybe you could do coupons towards us from England in the community? Maybe?

I really love the look of this Camera, great review, five star!

  • sure is laggy

  • definitely laggy as fuck

  • What is the range for the camera?

  • what batteries does it ues?

  • thanks for using the MagicMouse Chris!.. being a big fan of your and the designer of the mouse... its encouraging!

  • stop spamming windows 7 downloads, you stupid cunt!

  • wet cunt

  • @dnave21

That surely is a very useful comment.

    Way to go!

  • You have to pay a yearly fee with this product.....WHAT!?

  • "Uugh, you're lagging. Lag, lag, lag, lag lag"

    Cool vid :-)

  • you dont need this!!!

    just download SMART CAM!!

install it on ur computer and your phone :)

ur phone has to have wireless of cores :D

  • The delay is so slow.

  • How long do the batterys last in the cameras?

  • Ah come on Chris, shower cam babe! lol

  • why is the... audio so good

    ? and video is laggy

  • lol what do u expect from a wireless security camera ?

  • its a security camera...

  • Nice!

  • "A camera will operate for up to a year on a single battery with normal use."

The batteries are about $2 a each and it comes with 2 cameras and 2 batteries.

"The cost for the service offering after the 1st free year is $19.95 per year."

So basically if you stick to the 2 cameras it comes with, it cost you $22 a year. You can add $2 a year for each battery to power each additional camera you add.

So after the first free year, it's only $1.84 a month total cost. That's a deal!

  • i have a question:

Do you know of any way to get a free Digital video recorder? i really need one. my flip just died. it wont work, even with new batteries. i use it for 1 minute and then it says it low on batteries!! Also the batteries have been super heating. i need a way to get a knew one, hopefully one with a hole for a tripod mount.

  • batteries will be an issue. and by the fps rate, it looks like if you ran past it, it wouldn't pick you up.

  • isnt Vue a cinema?

  • How long do the batteries last?

    Rechargeable or just AA?

  • Do they slow down your internet speed significantly?

  • kinda lags a bit...

  • @college325

It IS a 'security' camera, not a hispeed HD webstreamer... :P

  • You Chris you have to send the stuff back dood? PS You should put one of them fancy cameras on your Prius.

  • @TheNewYorkPete he bought this, it wasn't a review unit.

  • Comment removed

  • looks pretty crappy to me when it turns red for no reason

  • I'll keep an eye on your hose ^_^!

  • wtf, why would you want to watch a water hose... you ment hoes.

  • @Cuttincorners Oh shi*, I meant house like what he mentioned in the video about us watching over his house. I shouldn't be in a rush I guess...

  • Wonder how long the camera batteries last...

  • i use icamsource and icam iphone app to see my house on the go

  • AT HOME VIDEO SERVER converts any webcam, wireles or wire, in a security camerwa and its an iPhone App and its even more afoordable :P

  • This cost $300 that IS NOT affordable $100 is affordalbe

  • $300 is affordable to a small company or someone who is serious about home security, not just some kid who wants to see when his parents come in his bedroom :)

  • If your 12 its not affordable.

  • Are those, Logitech Webcam Pro 9000, on his monitors?

  • yes

  • Where does the wireless camera get its power? How far can the wireless connectivity go? Depending on your router or the one they provide? Could you record lets say a month worth of recording and then have it auto delete and start recording a new month?

  • Good question. I was about to ask the same thing about the power.

  • I've been wondering for a long time, whether Chris makes any real use out of his macs... I mean he's got a mac mini streaming live (so it doesnt count) but he's also got a MB Pro, an iMac and a Mac Pro. Folks, do you think he really needs 3 computers? (Or more if we can't see them)

  • why not? he travels alot, so MBP. mac mini is good cuz it dosent use so much energy for the stream. mac pro is good cuz he does process a bucnh of HD vids. and iMac..well..personal computer?

  • I kinda agree. Mini for streaming, MB Pro for going mobile but an iMac? The Mac Pro can do all of the work and way more than the iMac.

  • mac pro IS a power hog..so..iMac is alternative?

  • I realy dont think its neccesary but if he can keep up with em (maintenance, bills, etc...) I dont see y not. Although I wood LOVE to hav all those macs in my room lol, woodnt u?

  • One of the three on his desk would be enough for me =P

  • i would like to... :P

  • And an HP touchsmart, an EEE pc, a computer in the kitchen and a smaller laptop standing on his desk.

  • yeh he needs to computers this is what he uses them for

    Mac Pro: Work & other

    iMac: Windows

    Macbook Pro: To take about

  • He can easly run Windows on the Mac Pro...

  • @funtube99999 I think he has like 4 or more I am not sure but seriously he doesn't need them.

  • @360GameHelper I purchased the Vue Camera system with two extra camers. This thing is crap. I used it a few seconds a day and it goes through batteries

( $10.00 for two) like crazy. The batteries last for two weeks. If you're thinking of buying it, DON"T.

  • That is a cool security camera.

  • Nice camera's but will they securely keep an 'eye' out? I mean that those things are wireless and what if your intruder knows how to jam them?

  • @Joh739 - Well then the intruder wins.

  • Chris knows how to entertain when doing a commentary. I always look forward to his videos.

  • It is a security camera, it doesn't need to be 24fps...as long as you can see if someone is in your house or if there is a fire or anything it is doing it's job.

  • Chris, is the camera laggy because you have the frame rate set low?

  • What's the encryption on that Chris?

  • that little camera seems pretty good

  • its stream is the mother of all lags!! =O

  • but its wireless so it would have some lag

  • freaking LAGGY as hell , DONT BUY IT , PLEASE

  • Have you ever seen a wireless really small camera without any lag?

  • Nice 4 the front door.

  • crap framerate

  • Comment removed

  • LAG.

  • "camera to operate for up to a year on a single battery with normal use" Normal use is 10min per day...I hope that it has motion detection then and only turns on when you need it to. uses a lithum ion battery. For a security camera these would be pretty good. Frame rate is pretty low (and only VGA resolution) I imagine that the videos should not take up a lot of room on your HDD which is good for a SC. Extra camera's aren't cheap at $100 a pop. No weather proofing avia. future product.

  • If you want high quality streaming video 24x7, this is not the product.

  • Chug, Chug, Chug, Chug, the little camera that thought it could.

  • security camera had lagg probably too low frame rate

  • nice to see chris has began doing advertisements at our expense! and i highly doubt he paid anything 4 it!

  • How are these little security cameras powered?

  • thats a horrible hoorible hhoooooooooorrrrrriiiibbble camera! pile of bollocks!

  • What´s the range, doubt it´s weather safe.

  • Lags... Slow as a snail.

  • How those cameras are powered? Batteries?

  • cute

    rly cute security cam!

    Like its size!

  • Hi mate, What is the background of the screen what you were using

  • You don't have these over your bed do you?

  • he uses it so he can see when the police are coming to steal his weed

  • u have a sick setup

  • omg it works SO WELL! it lags.... lol

who would want a laggy camera, my old PPC with windows mobile could stream video with more FPS than that over a wireless network

  • omg it lags

  • i just ordered this i cant wait

  • i dont like it, its too laggy,

  • yea why do these things need to have so much lagg -_-"

  • part two I looked at the webside to you have to pay for the websit service after a year or can you just use you own webbrowser me I hate to pay for something Ialreayd paid for unless it is a realy realy cheap price to pay on line for the web service please reply and give me any ansers. thanks. because I have my eyes set on this.

  • Does this camera have internet access and is it crackable? That could be a handy tool for criminals to get the layout of you house from off the internet.

  • I like this cam thing I'm a model railroader adn this would be good if I wanted to let other model railroaders see my layout out live. I also have a video chat room I like to use this in it be great for that and is there and option for a power adaptor for a more perment use. again cool product. I have to chack in on this .

  • How do the camera's have power, It would suck to keep changing batterys or charging them....U know

  • i'm also wondering bout the the power durability...

  • Honestly, that really looks like a little modern version of the security cams on Bioshock! :D

  • How do you power this?

  • chris u dont need security cameras, u can beat up any intruder that comes into ur house man

  • how is it powered???

if it's batteries you can just forget about it!!

  • that is awesome!

  • i wouldnt want this. if wires are to much for you, (not you chris, i know your a real geek) then your not a true geek. with my setup, you just have to buy a usb over rj45 hub (which are relativey cheap) as much ethernet cord(rj45) as you would need, and a webcam, with the quality you need, from a 10 dollar camera, to a 300 dollar HD camera. then hook this all up to a computer, and get a ustream account. voila, no horrible lag from wireless, and its available, "anywhere"

  • @bobbybob3680 WOW, thats a freaking GREAT idea...is this the type of hub ur talking about? "Tripp Lite U224-1R4-R 3-port USB Hub "

  • yes, but that one has 3 extra ports that are gonna bump up the price but yeh, same concept!

  • loooks laggy but idk if it is your web cam

  • It's a security camera, not a web cam. They obviously sacrificed performance for quality when they made it.

  • How long do the batteries last?

  • Great quality for such a small camera!

  • 7 days a geek lol

  • I wonder how long the battery last. Who would want to keep changing the batter every other day....

  • How long do the batteries in the cameras last? That's the biggest question.

  • Does it need batteries? Wouldn't be that great if it did.

  • Do you have to charge it or something like this?

  • $300 for this???

  • looks like an investment for a cool security system. But when i need one or get my own place and need one then i'll start looking.

  • So, if you are able to enter into someone's video network, you can practically spy on them, right?

  • seems Like a Fail

just get a laptop with a virtual web cam (integrated)

    That's my opinion ...

well nice job with the advertisement :P 5 stars

  • gimmie your computers! and chair! and light's! NAW :o!

  • That chair looks like the most comfortable chair I've seen...

  • framerate sucks, video is all choppy...

  • its a security system not a webcam

  • darn not first... lol...like the product though

  • in guna get it

  • cool

  • NICE WEB CAM

  • woo!

  • me <----- not first

  • awesome
