  • @marcomili nobody can even think about music anymore. its this friday-bieber-gaga-whatever crap

  • i am 13 He died shortly I was born, and I love this music more than this Bieber, Lady Gaga shit

  • @gtazockerable same here =D

  • @Chaklawin144 i will keep it up, he is inspirational, and as you said, he does sing about important things, and his messages he delivered will be here for years to come. RIP Scatman, if other people forget your messages, we will remember your messages and spread them out to make everyone who forgot remember.

  • @111ScatmanForever111 Actually, the album was released on June 1, 1999, a full 6 months before Scatman's passing on December 3, 1999.

  • RIP SCATMAN JOHN THIS WAS HIS LAST SONG BEFORE HE DIED OF LUNG CANCER IN 1999 March 13, 1942-December 3, 1999 (aged 57) WE WILL ALL MISS U WITH YOUR GREAT SONGS REST IN PEACE

  • @deathlock317 Yeah, way to abuse the caps lock.

  • @Chaklawin144 i agree, look at me, a 15 year old listening to him

  • @Chaklawin144 Man. "Whatever God wants is fine by me. I've had the very best life. I have tasted beauty.". His last words(I think). The words of a man accepting death upon himself. The words of a man who's AWESOME.

  • The perfect song for Scatman to leave us with.

  • i almost cried during this it made me sad

  • I had never heard this version until today. As important as the shorter version (which is missing a verse) was to me in 1999, it meant even more to me following my divorce. Hearing this version and the additional verse about being a man instead of being macho hit me like a constructive nuclear weapon, tying together what began following my divorce. I was right to avoid a throw-away rebound relationship. Scatman John's legacy lives on in me, too.

  • Scatman's songs have helped me through hard times. I have learned from his songs that we should enjoy our lives and not try to ruin it with temptations. R.I.P Scatman John your music will be played for years to come and your message will be learnt by others. You are truly missed.
