@sg1262 this was a completely improvised performance. all those with LED hoops were encouraged to join. a step towards bringing together hoopers to create a big mass of energy. It is a great example for me however of the importance of creating dances that are not too busy.

@boomtownhoops I do have some choreography up my sleeve that can be learned within a few minutes and is improvised and is accomplished through non verbal communication. but to teach this many people in such a short notice was not possible. was great to be a part of this though

Im just sayin for those who cant spend 200 something bucks.. the ones from target light up just as well although you have to hit them to light them up so lotsa reversals are needed haha. but its a cheaper way to get close to the same effect until you can afford a nice one

yep. must be the drugs that brought me to this page. i have absolutely no business partaking in this type of display. god damn those are fancy hula hoops. this is some wierd connection between childhood memories and having taken drugs as an "adult." must be. hell, i don't really know now. I mean, never, not once, have i though, "hula hoop" while under the influence of any of the interesting substances out there. I have thought, "man, i hope i never get stuck in alask in the wilderness."

those atomic hoops are definatly visually stimulating but when I experienced it during a show at a festival it was almost to much. Its hard to tell what your doing unless you close your eyes when inside because there is so much flashing and strobbing and changing patterns in your face! the patterns are lovely to look at, but I really enjoy the dance a hooper does, not just the blinking lights they have
