  • I love this song. It reminds me of how Nanjo spazzes over it.

If it gets stuck in his head, I can only imagine Nanjo really singing this. <3

    ...

    LOL.

  • I hurt my back dancing to this.

  • WAFU WAFU

    $*%*

    GHFVIFVIUHB

    \sadjihasidoasod

    OMFG ROFL

  • LMAO this song is so stereotypical Japanese.

  • Hitto pointo kaifuku suru nara kizugusuri to hougyoku de

Hinshi taihen nakama o tasukeru chigaeshi no tama to hangonkou

    Sekka kaifuku disutoon

    Doku de itai yo disupoizun

Mahi shita toki wa disuparaizu de

    Byouki o naosou disushikku

    Itsumo tatakau minna no mikata

    Boku-ra no machi no o-kusuriya-san

...here's the romaji lyrics. No disrespect dragonchild, but I just wanted to put the correct spelling in. ^-^

  • It IS brainwashing! I literally can't get this song out of my head... I'm singing and listening to it so much that I made my Japanese teacher listen to it. She didn't say it directly, but she made a "wtf is this?" face hahahahaha. She doesn't get that it's from a video game, I guess. ;D

  • And there's another song that didn't get dropped in the crossing. The whining grows less and less meaningful with each passing day.

  • Translation: To restore hit points, use medicine and jewels Save your dying friends with revival orbs and spiritual incense Heal petrifaction: dis-stone "The poison hurts," -- dis-poison When you're paralyzed, dis-paralyze and Let's cure illness, dis-sick Always a trusty ally of everyone who fights Our town's pharmacy! (Basically it's a plug of in-game healing items) (These sorts of in-store jingles for real products do exist in Japan) (The fish song made the hit list, IIRC)
  • And Nanjo never gets it out of his head.

  • Let's sing along!

Hit point kaifuku suru nara kizugusuri toh hohgyoku deh

Hinshi taihen nakama oh tasukeru jigaeshi noh tama toh hangonkoh

    Sekka kaifuku dis-stone

    Doku deh itai yoh dis-poison

Mahi shitah toki wa dis-paralyze deh

    Byohki oh naosoh dis-sick

    Itsumoh tatakau min-na noh mikata

Bokurah noh machi noh ohkusuriya sah nn

  • Not as good at the original. It doesn't have that "what the hell is this?" charm that made the Satomi Tadashi theme so special.

  • In its defense, the original was probably made crazier because it's a low-tech/low-budget version.

This version is actually closer to the style of real in-store jingles you hear in grocery stores in Japan. (I've never heard a pharmacy jingle, though.)

  • I know the feeling, osirisvir. xD

  • I remember the english version of this years ago. I laughed so hard.

  • Looooool I kinda remember Jika Net Tanaka hearing this xD

  • Brainwashing at its best.

  • It's a little more normalised than I would have liked, but at least it's in there.

  • ; D Ohyay. I just hope both Persona 2's get enhanced PSP remakes. D:

  • Ah, so the Satomi Tadashi store is here too =P I remember when I first went into it in Persona 2: Eternal Punishment and said "What the hell?" when I heard the Satomi Tadashi song. It kind of grew on me in the end though.
