It IS brainwashing! I literally can't get this song out of my head... I'm singing and listening to it so much that I made my Japanese teacher listen to it. She didn't say it directly, but she made a "wtf is this?" face hahahahaha. She doesn't get that it's from a video game, I guess. ;D
Translation: To restore hit points, use medicine and jewels Save your dying friends with revival orbs and spiritual incense Heal petrifaction: dis-stone "The poison hurts," -- dis-poison When you're paralyzed, dis-paralyze and Let's cure illness, dis-sick Always a trusty ally of everyone who fights Our town's pharmacy! (Basically it's a plug of in-game healing items) (These sorts of in-store jingles for real products do exist in Japan) (The fish song made the hit list, IIRC)
In its defense, the original was probably made crazier because it's a low-tech/low-budget version.
This version is actually closer to the style of real in-store jingles you hear in grocery stores in Japan. (I've never heard a pharmacy jingle, though.)
Ah, so the Satomi Tadashi store is here too =P I remember when I first went into it in Persona 2: Eternal Punishment and said "What the hell?" when I heard the Satomi Tadashi song. It kind of grew on me in the end though.

I love this song. It reminds me of how Nanjo spazzes over it.
If it gets stuck in his head, I can only imagine Nanjo really singing this. <3
...
LOL.

And there's another song that didn't get dropped in the crossing. The whining grows less and less meaningful with each passing day.

Not as good at the original. It doesn't have that "what the hell is this?" charm that made the Satomi Tadashi theme so special.

It's a little more normalised than I would have liked, but at least it's in there.
