Good marketing goes a long way. GTA was tedious and flatout boring after the initial wow effect wore off after a few days, RDR's singeplayer was ok, but the multiplayer was waaayyy to overhyped (go online with 7 of your friends, and hunt buffaloes! Ok, found one, shot him, it's dead... now what..) L.A Noire was fun for a while, but those novelties wore off too.. R* = Overrated

The coolest thing that made MaxPayne one of my favorite PC games is, once again, destroyed by consoles.

In an attempt to appeal to as large audience as possible, they destroyed the atmosphere that made the original and the follow up successful.

I hope I'm wrong but based on what I've seen from this trailer, the only things that are the same is music and the name.

We'll wait and see, but so far ... not even going to bother preordering.
