@salozmen29 The music from the GBA was the same as the music from the Genesis. SNES realized that and wanted to make the music a lot more accurate to the music from the actual movie.

Westwood Studios DID NOT MADE Aladdin and The Jungle Book. Those were also by Virgin but were done by different studios altogether. Virgin Games USA made Aladdin and Eurocom made The Jungle Book. And the Capcom games were done by, well, Capcom. They were published by Virgin in Europe, but that's all. It is apparently said that Westwood Studios did the PC version of Resident Evil, but that's unconfirmed. They are much better known for the Dune and Command & Conquer games, among others.

I agree with some comments, i hate or just don't like games that are from a movie, but this i have to say that it was really awesome, it was challenging, fun, and great graphic. This was one of the my childhood memory back then and i remember when me, my cousin and his friends used to pass turns when we died and trying so hard to beat this game xD..but i never was able to beat it :(

Are you kidding me? Listen to it again. The SNES's music was FAR better for this game, it even got the chorus voices in the background. THe genesis version sounds like Lion king elevator music.

*sigh* Those of you who grew up without a genesis will NEVER understand. Sega Genesis game music had such a special & unique vibe. I've been watching videos for SNES versions of games I had for Sega as a kid, and the music just sounds generic & boring to me.

It's not the size of the sound processor that matters, IT'S WHAT YOU DO WITH IT. That's why I will always hold Sega above Nintendo in terms of music.

I don't know why, but the music during the first stage makes me think of Spyro the Dragon for the PS1...also, the vocal intro=epic win. It just perfectly shows off how much of an edge the SNES has over the Genesis-i actually traded in the Genesis version today. I might get this version though because it looks so much better and the sound is so gorgeous...(Drools)

I have'nt played the Snes version but as I can see in this video the 1st level music sounds very odd with this humming as a background.And everything is slower damn it , it's probably because of the slower processor of the Snes console.Nintendo really made a huge mistake putting this slow processor.

I don;t think one is better than the other because honestly both versions are damn challenging lol, but they make both distinct in some ways to separate themselves from the other systems:

SEGA: Focus more on Sound Effects

SNES: Focus more on Soundtrack and Visual Enhancements.

Movie games usually suck balls, but this one is actually a diamond in the rough! Great graphics and animations, beautiful sound effects and music, silk-smooth controls, it got everyting right. The only flaw is that, even on easy mode, the game's too damn hard. You have to earn your continues and lives by grabbing them in secret places, and they're practically mandatory to grab.

On the plus side, you don't have to collect 100 of something to earn lives. I hate that in platform games myself unless they can really fit it in. (like Sonic and Crash Bandicoot)
