I am very suspicious. Everyone testing this car goes max out and then says the gas mileage is not as high as stated. Not one has driven the car for mileage, they just put the gas pedal to the floor. I think they are paid by the oil company to kill this super high mileage fun version. My Pickup can get as little as 10 MPG and as much as 22 MPG depending on how I drive it. This video is a rigged test.
@squizzoo in the united states our cars are rated lower than actual fuel mileage now days. I had a car that was rated for 28mpg (US gallons) highway and 18mpg city... In mixed driving i got 27 to 28mpg and on the highway w/ a light foot i got a tick over 30mpg (in a chevy impala 3.5L w/ 4T65E four-speed automatic transaxle & a curb weight of some 3700lbs) A ford Fiesta is rated for 29mpg city and 40mpg highway and im sure it does at least that... Remember American Gallons are smaller than in UK

If you have trouble understanding her accent, maybe you need to look at how many countries speak English aside from America (if that's where you're from). I'm sure she gets enough legitimate feedback about her job performance from her employer to know that jerks writing nasty comments don't carry much sway. There is such a thing called constructive criticism.
I have the HOT version of the Fiat 500, the Abarth 500 with 170 BHP! It's awesome! But i also have a 22 year old Fiat with a 2 cylinder engine, Fiat are breathing new technology into the old engineering they were and still are very good at! It's a fantastic car

I wish they offered this twin-air turbo version in the U.S. I love the engine design. Very clever and advanced in design. For such a small car, 84hp. Its the lightness that will make this car that much more fun to drive.
economical and fun? Those are 2 words you don't hear often in the same sentence when talking about cars. If I couldn't afford a Mini I would buy the Fiat 500....but I prefer the Mini.
@plaidzinc I am not. I realize that an accent is simply a variation on pronunciation and therefore any possible way a word is pronounced, will be an accent. Besides, there are many American accents that are distinct from what I'm used to in Oregon, including the unique mannerisms of speech from New York, Minnesota, Texas, etc. I find most accents interesting in some way or another, except my own which is starting to get a little boring by now.
@StigRossi Having watched Top Gear almost constantly for years, I can assure you that's not the case. Just the way she was talking in particular, with the most precise and thorough pronunciation ever, seemed to stand out. I agree, however, them there fellas down south got 'emselves a fun way a' talkin'.

I am very suspicious. Everyone testing this car goes max out and then says the gas mileage is not as high as stated. Not one has driven the car for mileage, they just put the gas pedal to the floor. Car has style, great interior, good build quality, 5 star on EuroNCAP crash test and great engine. Space is not problem too.
So 3,5 stars are just her PMS or too long driving boring japanese cars. :)
