If each individual tobacco company for instance sold it's own kind of marijuana, there would business in it. You could make a killing off of it and it would be less violence to put up with if it is already legal.

We have less criminals active in my country to sell the weed on the streets. There are more jail cells for the real criminals like rapists or murderers.

We have less criminals active in my country to sell the weed on the streets. There are more jail cells for the real criminals like rapists or murderers.
The government is taking taxes to establish the economy.
There is no more taxes needed for police officers to bust weed users and put them in jail.
There is no more taxes needed for the monthly cost of one jail cell.

why would you need to go to amsterdam to smoke herb if you live in the NL. there are several coffeeshops in all of holland. most of the coffeshops in dam are crap anyway (other than a few on haarlemmerstraat). im assuming you live in the NL since you can frequent adam every month.

You made yourself seem unintelligent in the beginning..."drived me home"...Then you followed up by saying a guy you worked with drove you home high all the time. Obviously he didn't mind driving high. An impaired driver is an impaired driver no matter what they're using. And more high people drive than you would think. It's unsafe. Not to mention, I think it should be legalized as well. I just think people need to educate themselves on both sides to properly defend their beliefs.

I think it should be legalized. However, I have heard good reasons why it shouldn't be. With alcohol, they have the breathilizer to detect how drunk you are, but there isn't a way to tell how high you are. If there was a method to determine how high a driver was, it would probably already be legal. Another thing is, what the person is using cannot be clearly determined. People react to drugs differently. Weed may be the safest drug-for the user, but it definitely reduces your reaction time,

If you think I do, smoking Marijuana lowers the risk of getting various cancers, and can be very effective (more so than chemo) against breast cancer.
You cannot OD, very few get aggressive from it, and it doesn't really harm your body.
It just doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
Fewer people have tried it in the Netherlands than the US ffs!

Marijuana along with other drugs should be legal for the same reason prostituion should be legal; because you own your body. These activities are dangerous because they are illegal, if anything happens(stolen from, assaulted), there is no one you can go to. Giving someone a felony for drug posession can and has destroyed many lives making it more likely for people to turn toward other crime(because they can't get a job). Just to name a few reasons ;)

I think it should be legalized , i live in the netherlands where it is legal and i think that most people will try it and most people think thats a bad thing but it aint because a lot of those people that try it will almost never use it agian because they know what it does and yes maybe some will use it more often but for kids it will be beter to legalize it because then you wont get the adrenaline from smoking because it is legal and you wont get busted for it.
