  • @emergencyevac where can I get it

  • @where can I buy it.

  • How much does it cost

  • How much does it cost?

  • If there is a smoke, your main problem will be lack of visibility and navigating through smoked/burning floors.

CO can be dealt with simple 20$ CO face filter, so it's pretty fail invention.

Also, did you know filters have limited shelf life, have to be vacuum sealed for long term storage?

Your system would not only be useless, it would need replacement every 6 months...

  • we need this product in all highrise buildings and downtown buildings. this product and a parachute should save more lives.

  • Our four classrooms in the main building which Im in haz inflatable slides like they do on a plane since we have high buildings

  • can you provide some contact and details about this product?

  • @maq1226 , I believe this product is just in the designing stage and has never been produced yet. That is why there is no selling information being available from emergencyevac since my last posting 6 months ago. It is really disappointing and sad you have such a good product that sit there without selling to people in needed for this product to save lifes!!

  • Can someone help me to get his super product? I have been waiting more than a week without any answer from anybody. HELP!!!

  • Hi,

Can any body help me to get the official web-site for this wonderful product?? I need to purchase this product immediately. Thanks.

  • In high rise buildings where many smoke filled floors must be passed by alot of people, i can see this product's applications. However smoke detectors in residential homes usually provide adequate warning for safe evacuation provided that evacuation is rehersed and planned. phew

  • If the smoke is emminating from alower floor, the upstairs (bedrooms) could be quite engulfed before the detector is heard or activated. Also, it is quite common that a parent being awakened by a smoke detector is overcome with smoke inhilation while attempting to get to an infants room to rescue the baby. A set of evacuation hoods in a parents bedroom could allow them to move with air and vision to rescue thier children.

  • Can they prevent concrete blocks falling on me?

  • Are you refering to blocks that have already fallen on you? I doubt it!

  • yeah, and what happens if people start fighting for those thing?

  • Part of the function of this system is to avoid that very thing. The racks and number of units are designed location specific and are installed according to occupancy and egress patterns. Everyone in a given location knows which rack will be easiest eccesed on their egress and from what rack they should retrieve their hood to avoid confusion, congestion and fighting.

  • cool! will it work with Nukes?

  • Yes it will. It will obviosly not protect you at point of explosion, but will protect you from nuclear particular fallout.

  • i like this idea it could save a lot of live, but when there is a fire everybody will be scrambling around to get one and some people might get knocked down and trampled on.

  • The racks are installed according to predetermined egress patterns. Everyone knows their evacuation route. The appropriate number of racks are installed along the various lines of egress accounting for all evacuees. This will help to reduce panic and scuffles over obtaining units

  • just wanna point out, if you have sprinklers in every room and a smoke detector and window in each bedroom, the chance of dying in a fire is almost nothing, as long as all the equipment works properly

  • In actuality you are quite off in you conclusion. Sprinklers will do a great job in saving property and limiting damage to furniture, computers, walls, floors, etc. However they expanentialy increase the amount of smoke emmisions and increase the chance of you dying from smoke inhalation. Go to the NIOSH website and watch the side by side rooms with and without sprinklers. You can survive in the non sprinklered room much easier

  • sure there is more smoke initially, but it prevents the fire from growing larger and producing an immense amount of smoke and heat. the smoke alarm is what'll save you if the fire is in the room you are in, but if the fire is in the hall outside your room or in the kitchen, etc. they increase the chance of survival. the most people that have died in a fully sprinklered building due to fire (until recent terrorist acts) was 2, and that was cause it was in their room w/out a smoke alarm in it

  • what if im in the upstairs bedroom and this rack is located downsstairs dinning room and there is smoke outside my door???

  • lol put one in the bedroom then
