  • instead filipinos adapting our foreign martial-arts why can't we enriched our owned maritial-arts...colonial-mentality most almost majority of our kababayan or younger generation never hold at their hand an arnis-stick...kawawa ang pinas..mabuti ibang bansa they appreciate arnis

  • @henrybautista2153

in the visayas-mindanao area we have escrima for our physical fitness subject.

  • i think the plural of eskrimador is "eskrimadores" not "eskrimadors"... the latter does not sound filipino.

  • IT'S A SHAME HOW WE SPREAD 7 TEACH OUR FILIPINO ART TO ALL FOREIGNERS BUT WE COULD NOT EVEN MAKE A PROGRAM TO REQUIRE IT TO BE LEARN THROUGH OUT OUR OWN COUNTRY!!! SAD TO SEE... BUT i STILL LOVE KALI/ARNIS/ESKRIMA!!!

  • @marumito Yes, really hope arnis still be a part of all school physical-education...sariling-atin ito.

  • @henrybautista2153 - now that the chinese are encroaching in our shores, it's time for us 2 Defend our country to the fullest!!!

  • @marumito your right but it our government too coward to defend our country or just busy on corruption..blame anti-american stupid kababayan who abolished the US military bases & filipinos are sitting-duck to the chinese & LOL to us, we (younger generation)shall be busy practicing the craft of arnis(good for mind & body - a DISCIPLINE) inherited to our ancestors instead playing w/their laptop & ipad...

  • @henrybautista2153 ---- it's not about being anti-american, it's just our govts. fault for not Modernizing our own Military to make us into a stronger Independent Country, that is the problem. when we could've done it 20-30 years ago instead, we simply just leaned on the strength of the US military & their Bases that kept our own capabilities to a slump. now it's harder for us to modernize with all this foreign encroachment into our own economy...

  • @marumito yes, thank you so much for sharing the one & only real filipino martial-arts to the world, something for us (filipinos)to be proud of..really hope to see more people like you in the next generation to come..more power...

  • @henrybautista2153 -- thanks also bro. Keep KALI ALIVE! MABUHAY TAYONG MGA PILIPINO!

  • excellent moves. Amazing accuracy and speed. keep it up

  • A very classic moves incomparable to other different style.

NOTE: Filipino Martial Arts is not fading, only that some Masters forbid it to be a topic of discussion that's why its not popular. Unlike other forms of Martial Arts, The Authentic Filipino Martial Arts Remains in the wild and will never be tamed. Mabuhay kayo!!!

  • I;m from cebu but I moved before my school's Grade (PE) had tought it, but my older bro remember's getting a 99 on his test for this... he was fighting his friend and lol other classmembers had low grades cuz they wouldn't go fully at it.... they both did, he said it was fun...

  • its nice... i want to learn that....

  • There are a lot of other FMA styles/systems with very impressive knife/blade systems. Pekiti is just one of many. Kalis Ilustrisimo is one example. Unless we've studied all of these comprehensively, we can't make informed and factual comparisons and consequently, generalizations. So comments about "which one is best" are uncalled for, especially in videos of "other systems/styles."

  • Pekiti Tersia has the best knife/ blade combat system in the world... period...

Interesting moves tho, nice and close ranged...

  • @BushidoBudo9000 pekiti tersia and makoa kali styles are mixed together.. u can rarely see masters teaching the discipline seperately nowadays.. specially in military training.. so they're almost the same(cousins).. kali and eskrima are philippine well-known martial arts which've been taught as one system..(whether it's blade/sticks/empty handed combat system) these men are d real bushido..(no katana sword intended) :P

  • @BushidoBudo9000 Pekiti Tirsia is a great system to be sure and one that I study myself. However, I would hesitate to call it the best by any means. There are thousands of Family systems in FMA that virtually no one knows about and tons of them that do great things with both long and short blades. This is not to mention the great FMA bladed systems that people DO know about. Its all good in my view. The real question is can the PERSON make it work? These guys can.

  • FMA..one of the best art indeed. use to train for Royalty families bodyguard.

  • nice to watch this video been posted to you tube nice indeed
