way to disable ratings. its a good idea, if you used the acoustic GOOD quality songs of each id give you props. as is, the crap versions totally break the feel and flow and i cant even watch through it
@ugzz Thanks so much for your comments - I appreciate the feedback. Yea I'm glad I disabled them too because I know it's definitely not very well made. It was more of an idea and I just couldn't pull the video off. I am not an expert editor. I wish someone would make a better video because I would love to watch it.
LOOOOOVE the new album!! Haven't picked it up yet? Well you're totally missing out :) But you can listen to the whole album on the First Listen section on NPR . org Enjoy!!
One of the best things Kelly has done for music is to bring more exposure to people like Ray Lamontagne and Patty Griffin!!!! Not taking anything from Kelly but she sure can ride the cover song train.
I got it on the Express.. I think it was footage from Tinley Park. I however attended the Woodlands concert but didnt have my camera then:( Oh well there's always next time..Kelly tours like crazy! That's awesome that you were able to see her so close when she came into the crowd..I would've been freaking out!
Hey what city during the Addicted tour did you get your footage from? I went to her Dallas concert but my videos aren't very good because of the seats were towards the back. Kelly is such an amazing live performer, isn't she? She was just 5 yards away from me when she came into the crowd to sing "Breakaway".
Yea Kelly introduced me to Ray's music too during the Addicted tour. When I saw Ray was performing at ACL, I was beside myself because I knew Kelly had sang one of his songs! I made sure to tape him singing Shelter.
Thanks for posting this video, supersporty34! Great job on the video -- i've never seen Ray perform live before so that was cool! Kelly's wonderful MTV performance of "Shelter" actually introduced me to Ray's music.
You took the words right out of my mouth terillian! I wish I would have had the comments set to with approval so that asinine comments like the one above wouldn't be on here. I included at the end of this video a clip of Ray saying he liked her version so people need to get over themselves.
WTF -- why are people so rude over Kelly changing the lyrics? It was done to be in context with the Katrina benefit (think about the victims for a moment). She has been extremely respectful of Ray and even asks her fans at her concerts to buy his CD. I also read somewhere that Ray was complimentary of her cover of his song so I don't get why you're so worked up.
Is that Noel Gallager playing guitar for Kelly Clarkson?

Putting Ray & Kelly in the same video, terrible idea. Quality is crap and Kelly ruins Ray's song.

Cutting & pasting this together was probably the worst idea ever conceived.
