Saw you going for that OTG Spencer grapple wire a lot. If you learn to do a "Tiger Knee" motion with it (2369) and hit M just as you leave the ground you'll have a 99% connect rate. Also handy for throwing other QCF projectiles and what not.

Gamer Tag is CordialSnail if you want to play sometime, or play in a lobby once we get spectator and don't have to watch player cards hump.

ha, you hit the nail on the head with complaints with xbox live. DUMBEST shit that you have to wait in a lobby and not able to watch a match. The whole not finding a match during a ranked match is horse shit. they need to fix this shit ASAP.

Hey, durden, I hear ya on the online. My first fighting game was Blazblue and I had almost no problem on that. On the part of MVC3 online, I can oblige with you on that and the connection sucks (Really Capcom, it does.) , but most of the time, I have friends who play versus with me most of the time. But still, it's a fun game, just thank god I don't play online on it mostly.

Yeah, I'm sure a hundred people have already said this, but just in case, I'll say it again. I understand your anger with the online connection issues, however I have a way of finding matches that you may like. Go into Training or Arcade, and when you start set Fight Request to Ranked or Player Match, that way you'll randomly be challenged while you're having fun waiting :D and it very often connects for me when I do this

I really want to get this game but all the people that are actually good and pro at fighting games like marn and mike ross say that this game sucks, it's only good for scrubs. Don't know whether to buy it or wait to see if the rumor about a wii version is true.

I heard hat the best way to find a ranked match is to play arcade mode and have battle something enabled, so every time it finds an available match it automaticaly joins. I don't ahve the game yet, but I some people say that is the best way.

I may be incorrect, but I think the big issue with Tony Hawk wasn't slowdown. It was that the rom was really bad and didn't emulate the later levels. Durden may have looked into other roms to see if they worked, but I'm not sure if he did.

Frankly i've been quite taken by x-factor, it's brilliant especially if your opponent has is leading you with remaining characters, and it works so brilliantly for characters like dormamu with a keep away / multi hit cross screen game

I know what you mean about the reaction timing with Joe but its great to get off some stylish moves with him. My main team is Viewtiful Joe, Amaterasu and She Hulk myself, also I found it easier for you to find matches in the lobby areas than ranked match.

Yo dude, for online matches, try going to training mode and turn on the fight request. It'll let you choose between player or ranked matches and usually finds someone to fight pretty quick. It's been working out for me that way on PSN, at least.

@Roykidsego I just love playing as Dorm. I put on a pretty shoddy show here, but usually he's one of my strongest. It's just all about luring them into your traps. When they get too close, teleport to mix them up. And be sure to OTG with his purification pillar special for an easy chaotic flame..

And I think Joe has tons of potential. He just requires a high level of intricacy. I've had Joes get me in combos I thought would never end, with multiple supers.
