yea. the spartan is more aggressive..and more expensive.but it wont blow if your under 275

the spartan is the best for the ford..the 310 tunes and the 345 is crazy but the h&s is badass..but id go with hs for the dodge

@rsr530 I had a XRT on my 2008 6.7 Cummins and it was great so I stuck with H&S when I bought my Ford. The Spartan is good don't get me wrong but H&S's customer service is alot better and you don;t have to pay $300.00 for the higher HP tunes. The Spartan has a rep for making alot of trucks puke(blown gaskets). To each their own.

My friend just got this same one, and is very upset with it. According to him it's nothing more than a BullyDog, and uses the same program. The only bad thing is that it cost a shit-ton more than a BD, and is the same thing. Any truth to that?

@bisquik3006 That is 100% bull shit. H&S made a agreement with Bully Dog's supplier for hardware and boards. All programming is done by H&S. Bully Dog has no DPF removal software and no where near 300RWHP over stock. H&S also does intense trans tuning of which Bully Dog does not. The two share the same hardware and that is it. Your buddy needs to do his research on diesel performance. I have been modding diesels since 2001 and have had 2 Fords,2 Duramax's and 9 Dodge's.

Does the "Hair Dryer" sound bother you, or is it really as noticeable as these videos make one think? I have a 250 and am looking at weather i will just do the DPF delete or do to the full DOC/DPF. Any advice?

The tranny is awsome! H&S's tuning makes a already strong trans even better. With the Ford trans you are good to about 600-615 RWHP before you need to upgrade.

Does the dash pod come with it? Do you have to wire it to the truck or does it plug in to the odb port?

You use the 1 purple wire under the dash that has shrink tubing on it. It is your PTO wire.Takes about 5 mins. to install.

I love it. Trans tuning is right on and the power is unreal. I'm a big fan of H&S and their service can't be beat.
