I honestly don't remember where i got it from..... i'm constantly looking for acapellas, djtools ...etc and sometimes i come across one or two that works for me.

does that mixer has plastic faders and the buttons does it feel cheesie? or solid????

The buttons and the faders are plastic (do they make metal at all?) but it does have a pretty solid feel. In 2 years i had to replace the dry/wet fader twice !!! It phucks up easily. The second time it had no warranty and it cost me 100 AUD. Other then that it's a pretty good mixer. 3 phono in, 1 mic in, 6 line in, 2 headphone connectors, 3 controlled outputs (master, zone, booth) rec out, digital out...... no send/receive. The effects and the sampler are pretty good.........

The mixer is good. I had some fun with it, the FX WET/DRY fader f*cked up 2 times in 8 month and i wasnt even rough on it. Also often when u have it on dry sometimes u still can hear the effect. The echo does not work on individual channels (i mean u start the effect then u turn the volume down on the channel it'll echo 'away') It works only on the master output.

PART 2:

If i were u i'd get a pioneer mixer. Thats what i'll get. If u don't have a lot of money to spend, get a DJM400. U'll have FX, and it'll work forever. Or go for 600 or 800. My personal favourites are the 800 and the 909.

Find out about the 909. AWESOME 2 channel mixer.

5000 FX = good fun but don't trust it. If u serious about mixin get pioneer.

I C what u mean. U can record with the mixer (then beatmatch it??? I never tried, and i cant try now coz its being fixed 2nd time in 8 months.... ), however i don't use that function unless i wanna insert some soundFX like a thunder or some acapellas etc.

As soon as i get it back i'll let u know if that works. If so, I'll post a video.
