GUYS! READ THIS! The reason that Kimberly and Clear, the 2 girls, barely react to Rory being killed to pieces is because:

1. They had already seen numerous people die before. Especially the blonde, girl, Clear, had been in the first movie and witnessed many other deaths before her.

2. The guy Rory was near on Death's list anyway. So if anything, they were already expecting him to die soon, thus were most probably bracing for it.
