am going to matsumoto this year for 6 months. its hard to find any footage bout matsumoto or information so i was anxious about it. but after seeing this i have an idea what it is. still anxious though!

I've been in that beautiful matsumoto, esp. the castle..I feel sad I can't go back there now..I worked & lived in matsumoto for six months and now I really missed the place..

Im going to Matsumoto next week but I was wandering is fesible to walk to either the Alps or Shiroyama Koen. I want to take my girlfriend to get a good view of the city/ sunset if possible but the buses dont seem to run that late.
Yes my cold is in the final stages of minor hacking and snoting...thanks. Yea I like the hat too thanks its sort of the Attila the Hun look... no? I just need a horse and a sword now. The castle just got a new paint job and carpentry work last couple years now they are working on the grounds. Beautiful construction work as with all Japanese castles and temples.... I will go in the summer and take footage of the inside!

Thanks for the info on the bus... yea there was a new year festival with drums and free sake and stuff it was new years day I think?...I was a zombie in bed with flu...bummer ...saw it on TV later
Fun stuff. Japanese castles are cool. It looks kinda cold out there, but then again Nagano was home to the '98 winter olympics. Are there any remnants of the games being held there?
No I do not think so.. but I have not seen anything or really looked for that. I will ask my wife. It was a huge deal back then and she remembers it well. Yea my cold was raging and my voice was all slurpy in the latest vids. very cold and dry it was....
I want to settle in Nagano-ken. Should I choose Nagano City or Matsumoto?

I've been in that beautiful matsumoto, esp. the castle..I feel sad I can't go back there now..I worked & lived in matsumoto for six months and now I really missed the place..

I've been to many castles in Japan over the years, but Matsumoto isn't one of them.
Matsumoto looks like a nice place to visit.
I haven't had spicy kitkat or apple kitkat, but green tea kitkat was great.

OMG is that a Daihatsu Midget at 4:54 ?? I've never seen one in the UK but I remember it as the least powerful car in Gran Turismo 2!

been there a couple of times myself - matsumoto-jo is on my top favorite list for castles. I've got a nice night shot of it with some snow around.

castle festival? When is that? I know there's something on Nov 3 where they fire some guns. Is that the one?
Oh, for others FYI you can also get to Matsumoto by Keio Buses in Shinjuku for about 6000-7000 Yen roundtrip
