you bet, they ran from 1969-1992 on EL then ConRail then NJTransit. Some went to SEPTA for Philadelphia communting in 1993-1994. Another website lists four surviving in mexico. There is also one sitting in Garfield NJ which i just went to have a look at.
oh man i remember seeing these back inhoboken in the 80's and 90s. always recognizable by their powerful chugging. good ol days. thanks for sharing.
