Well the 16th's sound better than regular 8th notes.. It's because he does 2 16th's then 2 8th's and stuff like that, and that's obviously harder than constant 8th or 16th notes..

good cover man.nice right foot.small suggestion: be aware of where you are hitting the snare drum,try to make it consistent,for the simple matter that your are a good strong player and if you mike the drums through aPA you will not have consistent snare tone. like the way you use those cymbals. btw the other dude was wrong.its not eight notes, its a eighth note and sixteenth note pattern that sort of mirrors the kick pattern.good job man,love the tune

The open hi-hats during the intro are incorrect. Listen carefully to the original song from 1:00. The hi-hats open once, then twice. I feel the open hi-hats are crucial to the groove. Just my two cents!

My only problem is the sound quality. If you have the budget, get some mics on your set. you can get 'em pretty cheap sometimes. And maybe the camera could be placed in a better spot for sound, or it could just be the camera. Anyways, VERY good. 5/5

"Too creative on the hi-hat," I don't know. The song is pretty minimalistic...it can take it. Besides, make things your own and recreate instead of merely duplicating them, sounds more realistic to me. Illicit put it on here and it rocks imo.

I rarely get a chance to jump behind a drumset myself lately. My father offered me one of his old sets, but it would be too noisy here. I would only play it on the side, really...I'd miss my guitar ;p

Using Sony Vegas 7.0, I overlay the song on one layer. The drum video/audio tracks comprise of two layers respectively. Then it's simply a matter of dragging the song layer to line up with the video/audio and adjusting volume levels.

Sony Vegas is a little more pricey, however you can do the same thing with Windows Movie Maker (free) just as easily FYI.
