If the brother (Grant) was actually Sodium, Josie Corraine and Lucas would not be able to touch him without experiencing a highly unpleasant feeling. In science labs sodium is stored under mineral oil as it burns in the presence of water (moisture) and then becomes Sodium hydroxide, which speaking from experience even a 0.1% conc. spill feels horrible, they would totally be burned :|

Exactly! And pure chlorine is toxic, so being around Marshal would be extremely harmful. I don't know why they are so worried about uranium, when there are so many other dangerous elements way before that.
