Not within a week. Look how long it takes for Smack, Grindtime, AHAT, Lions den, etc... to schedule and post a premiere battle. Guys that do that stuff at the spur of the moment typically lose.

I don't know if you know what goes into preparing for a battle. Pro-dudes just don't do that.

As much as we would all like to see a battle between Murda and Reedz. What Reed said is true. Professional battle rappers take weeks if not a month getting ready to battle somebody. Not within a week. Look how long it takes for Smack, Grindtime, AHAT, Lions den, etc... to schedule and post a premiere battle. Guys that do that stuff at the spur of the moment typically lose.

None of these guys want to show up and not be at what they feel is their best. Rappers can always be ready to freestyle, but no battler can always be ready at the drop of a dime to battle any and everybody out there. I don't know if you know what goes into preparing for a battle. Pro-dudes just don't do that.

Or what if someone on another coast (west/east) just calls you out. Will you be ready within a week? Also if you wrote something 5 years ago about a dude, It may no longer be relevant and the slang in your lines may not be current. You'll have to constantly keep memorizing and rewriting rhymns for battles..

@STLBRITE1 if u always got bars for the next person then u jus got generic lines that can be used on anyone. battlers get ripped on huge for that now, it dont fly anymore. use that material in songs because most of the time those ARE aimed at anyone listenin, and get personal in battles so that your lines ACTUALLY APPLY to your opponent. preparation is huge now too. gt and kotd doin it right. admitted pre written battles and seperate freestyle ones so that the shit aint an issue in judgement
