No, this is the 1986 version by Dominic Glynn. The 1980 version by Peter Howell uses a CS-80 for the bassline, the second portion of the melody and the chordal sections.
There were no such synths around when Delia Derbyshire made this tune. It was at the forefront of synthesiser music using sine wave generators and cutting up magnetic tape etc (way more impressive if you ask me)
Sure it's a real keyboard ! one of the best !

Yeah, but I'm pointing out a particular part of the track using a video. I don't see that as in anyway stupid at all.
ratsouffle 4 years ago
agreed, and yet 5 other people took the time they share that they dont!

sadly no juno at all here guys this is the "doctor who" theme...no junos used then...the line comes from a mighty yamaha cs-80...

That was cool, all juno 6? I detected some sounds......

Not all Juno 6. Melody is a DX-21. I think the extended version has a Prophet 5 in it as well.
ratsouffle 4 years ago
so the baseline was made by the juno-6?

Yeah, but you must be deaf if you think this is the original. This is the 1986 version by Dominic Glynn.

lol - nice. Someone's got a Juno fetish (and who could blame them).
