I agree that the EZA owner is not the funnest guy in the world and I see your point about him hating affiliates... But SOOO many affiliates are creating craptastic articles that he has to battle them. If he doesn't then the magical rankings will go away because Google will devalue them

I only post articles on websites that do adsense sharing. Just imagine if you got some moneyn too from all the impressions your article gets on ezinearticles or articlebase. It's time to stop slaving making other websites rich.

@watchnlearnall You are missing the big picture. This article is ranked number one in Google for the keyword phrase giving the article thousands of views with many of those clicking on THE AUTHOR's link. For every dollar articlesbase is making off of that article in adsense, I bet the author is making at least 100 times that. You are limiting your traffic by limiting yourself to adsense sharing sites.

Good info, thanks. I'm getting constant grief from EzineA so looking for an alternative. I've found GoArticles doesn't rank anywhere near as well as Ezine though. Hopefully ArticleBase is better.

BTW, Articles base allows a fully functional Author resource box, so the enterprising ones can put their affiliate links in there! Been there, done that!

Congrats for discovering Article Base! I've been using both Ezine Articles and Articles Base for some time now, and voila! Articles base has close to nearly half the traffic generated by Ezine articles! Yo there!

There is only one thing that Ezine Articles have going for them and that is they don't nofollow the author links where if you read the Guidlines in Article dashboard they do.

It's only a mateer of time before another article directory takes over from ezinearticles. The guy running ezinearticles is an arse hole who is "at war" with affiliate marketers.

Article marketers are the "bread and butter" for ezine. They are nothing without writers submitting content, and ezine is nothing for writers who can't profit from submitting articles.

Just stop submitting crappy or rehashed content.

Yep, Articlesbase is great! Been using them for almost 3 years. Must faster on the editorial and I can put a link wherever I want (first paragraph, first words even)! They don't have to be in the footer so my click-throughs are much better.

good info, and yes i agree with the above comment that ezine's service has become poor i cannot even get them to email me back concerning articles they have rejected. They have rejecting articles for some really poor reasons.

I have found the very same thing; more sales coming from ArticlesBase than Ezine, too. And Ezine is making a LOT of people mad by being editorial jerks.
