@cldbrks Never said what album song was from, yes it is from stereotomy. I was saying That Alan Parsons is Alan Parsons not Alan Parsons Project. People call the band Alan Parsons Project and that is a missconception. Because the first album was called Project. alot of listings on here say the same thing. The band is Alan Parsons, not Alan Parsons Project. I was just saying something that does not matter.
@winnarizona No, my friend: the band was The Alan Parsons Project. They started with Tales of Mystery And Imagination Edgard Allan Poe (not "Project"), and the last work was Gaudì. The band was Alan Parsons and Eric Wolfsons, and they worked together as "The Alan Parsons Project". After Gaudì, they split up, and Alan's new band was Alan Parsons Band.
@winnarizona Wait, wait? Are you saying it was Alan Parsons Project for just ONE album and only Alan Parsons after that??? I'm pretty sure that's not true!
Great video to this awesome song. I know that a lot of people have criticized Stereotomy for being to "sterile" and perfect, but this was the intention - no noise and perfectly sounding music. "Limelight" shines above it with beautiful arrangement and fantastic vocals of Gary Brooker .I always wondered , how would this song sound if it was performed by Procol Harum. This is a beautiful song and your video was just made for it....like it belongs.Wonderful job.Thank you for sharing.
music is the biggest part of my life and my dad is my drinking buddy/best friend yet he hates music. this is the only song i will ever catch him listening too its his favourite and he play it when he's feeling down. i now do the same after checking it out. Great song.
I know it's a year too late, but I think this song has *everything* to do with Charlie Chaplin. Or *any* other performer who has had a rough time reaching the pinnacles of their careers. It makes sense. *Perfect* sense to me.
....CHARLIE CHAPLIN disse....ci vuole un minuto per notare una persona speciale....un'ora per apprezzarla....un giorno per volerle bene.....ma poi tutta una vita per dimenticarla......

Charlie Chaplin doesn't need a soundtrack; this song doesn't need a tie in with another artist's work. Both stand on their own; unfortunate combo that demeans both works.
It is like corn. I love the yellow, sweet and bountiful crop produced by most farmers.
It was not always yellow, sweet and bountiful. Hybridization made it into something greater than the two original strains. People grew to embrace the combination.
I didn't want to make a soundtrack for Chaplin's movie. I tryed to make a clip using this song, Limelight, and some images from a Chaplin's masterpiece, Limelight. That's all.

This song is awesome . Ultimate song for the underdog , the washed up and just total loser. This song is a message of hope . Despite its eerie tone this song is perhaps the ultimate uplifting song .

"Puedo ver el destello de un distante sol..." Que hermosa canción! Que melodía tan conmovedora, cuanto verdad hay escondida entre sus estrofas ...que bella década...
