Its interesting how if Saren suicides, he dies a quick death, while if you fail to convince him and fight, he ends up impaled by a shard of glass when he falls and dies rather painfully.

The reason why it seemed like a Hero's Death was because it kind of was one. All Saren wanted to do was to not let the Reapers kill everyone, but he chose the dark path.

This was so awesome! When it happened to me, I felt such a strong chill. It was rather suprising, I have to say, Bioware just kicks ass! This was truly unexpected. I felt sorry for the bastard, even though he forced to choose between Kaidan and Ashley. He was but a victim. Not really evil.

@Mr13Xariel No, I haven't read the book Revalations or whatever. But if you talk to Anderson, he'll tell you about his first Spectre assinghment. I think it was an oil rig. Anyway he tell's you how Saren planted a bomb on it that had civilian's on it and blame's Anderson. So they kick him out. And I heard enough from Revelation's to know that he's a fucking asshole to the end. See what I did there?

Still, I'm glad I kicked his butt. I wasn't going to let him die as this tragic hero after he forced me to sacrifice one of my squad members.

I believe you can unlock that much charm only after replaying the game with the same character. I didn't have this dialogue option, even though I had max char possible. Then I replayed and suddenly more available unlocked, so I guess you get this end only if u play the game twice at least.

@Mr13Xariel Nah it's actually possible to do it on one play through. Just have to do enough side quests to level up. Got the chat option on my first play through when I had it on the Xbox.

And here I was thinking I learned all the charm I could. Well, I did, but there was like free empty space, ya' know, like not available any more. And it got unlocked for me only the moment I passed spectre induction second time. Weird. Whatever, I got to it evenetually anyway, and I think it's the best end of all. Made me look at Saren in an absolutely new way. I didn't see it coming.

Maybe I could do it in a second playthrough but I dont feel like going through all the game again just for that. But there is no reason to complain about someone not taking the same choices, its actually a good chance to see it, seeing it at videos without you having to do it yourself.
