Oh, my gosh!!! How can I get these? When I was a teenager I would always go to Japan Center in San Francisco and collect all kinds of Tezuka comic books in their original forms, from 'Noman' to 'W3'. They're so thick and the frustrating part is I can't read Japanese.
Me Too!. I could only hum the song, but I use to love this show. All I could remember was the boy riding around in that big wheel tire, I am glade you posted this, thanks
I loved this cartoon as a kid, but have only met one other person in all these years who knew what this show was. Some folks thought I was making all this up! Thanks for sharing!
I remember this. I came out after Astroboy and maybe the same time as 8thman . At the time it was for the little kids. Thats how my childhood mind remembers it. I dont think this was a big hit on tv back then. Nice to see it again, i remember thinking the cartoon would have been better if they didnt change to animals.
Only 52 episodes were originally produced for Japanese TV in 1965-'66 [Tezuka's last black & white series], and brought to this country through K. Fujita Associates {they also brought "SPEED RACER" to American audiences through Trans-Lux Television at the same time}, and "translated" by "Erika Productions", complete with a new theme by Don Muller, and English scripts by Reuben Guberman. Very few film prints of most of these episodes are available, 'nik', through collectors. If YOU find 'em...

A rare early Anime from Osamu Tezuka, the creator of Astroboy. Thanks for the footage.

Loved this show when I was a kid, and would really like to see it again. It is way weirder than Kimba!
