I dont know nowt about all the techy stuff posted below! What i do know, is that I get a fast reliable service from Be, never had any probs, never had to contact them at all! It just keeps working great! I get 6 -7 Mb, due to my location, and that is far faster than my friends that pay a lot more for slower connection! £14 per month. Check your connection speed to decide your most suitable package. No use paying for 24 Mb if your sub station cant deliver it!
i love that song. 38mb/sec = 136.8gb/hr what do you download that requires you have that high a bandwidth? that's nearly enough to fill four blue-ray discs or 30 standard dvds every hour. i guess it comes in handy for watching streamed hd content, but sheesh that's a lot. i'll probably sign up with them in a few months, but i'll be grateful with just a solid 8mb connection as opposed to the tiscali one i have which never seems to download more then 300kb/sec and is usually a fraction of that.
lol nice how do u get two connections working together? I currently only have the choice of getting something like virgin to get fast speeds as ive got shit cabling and far from exchange. Any ideas what i should do? I really wanted to get Be too :( u shud show ur ping in cs ^_^
Well congrats on winning the competition. So you have 2 lines working in conjunction with each other? But why surely the just the one is fine? I get a minimum of a 16mb connection with Be* and its great :D
They do only do 24Mbit/s but I have loadbalanced 2 lines together so all multi threaded applications get around 38Mbit/s of bandwidth.
PS: Stop the BS about knowing my IP. If you actually knew it you would know that I have multiple IP's as I am using a loadbalancer. If you do though please post a comment with them in. Give my spam filter on my MX server something to do as its bored ;)
ADSL2 still uses a ADSL tech. BE* Are too busy for your petty show off material. Bi might be a bit mythed your not using a business account or something and paying for proper bonded ADSL, and using a Cisco router. No, im not a noob. :) Don't be so touchy.
3) I have come from another ISP where I had used two ADSL MAX Premium lines together. This is far better because instead of getting 16Mbit/s I get 38Mbit/s because Be* use ADSL2+.
4) Why would I use Cisco as they are just corporate trash. You can do much more with BSD or Linux(that's proved that you don't know what your talking about - "but I said Cisco, and that makes me clever").
how is this possible- i live in the UK and paying for 8MB of broadband from BT and i did test and i getting like 2mb!i hate it how internet providers rip customers off!!
do you have to have a bt phone line for this?

Yes. I have 2 lines 24Mbit/s(down) 2.5Mbit/s(up) per line.

One would be more than fine but I am greedy.
I am actually thinking of adding a few more lines to the "pool" and am going to try to reach 100Mbps as an experiment.
Be* rule plain and simple and I think everyone on Be* that has a brain would agree!

I thought they only did upto 24mbps, and that could only get 22mbps with the upload @ 2.5mbps. - Thanks for the IP address by the way.

You will know shortly, you will know :) So you bonded, a non ADSL product. Somehow i don't think BE will take to kindly to that.
krazykizza 3 years ago
You really are a noob aren't you!
1) Be* use ADSL2+ (A form of DSL)
2) Be* know about the video
3) MLPPP and Load balancing are different!
4) Why would Be* not take kindly to that???
Finally:
You have clearly shown that you don't know what your talking about. If you do please post what my IP's are and what ports are open(Hint: use nmap)!
