6 foot 168lbs is pretty small, granted it doesn't look like you have much fat on you but yeah, i'm 5ft 10in weigh 205 and have under 10% BF. Plus the boxers you are talking about all cut mad weight to hit those weight classes and come fight night they all walk around well over that weight. @ej1elliot Punching machines don't actually take any strength, it's how you approach the bag with a technique and you're suppose to punch through the bag, not at it, and a certain set up of body motions to go with it will cause the machine to natural grade your punch very high, punching hard never takes strength only technique. Hence why in cases a smaller weight class can still very much knock out weight classes 2-3 sizes bigger then them. It's science, not physical strength.

I'm not sure if there is a technique on where to hit this machine or a certain technique on how it's done, The hardest I can hit is 805 :( I don't lift weights or anything just a standard office worker. I'm right handed and yet I hit 700+ with my left hand and a very soft punch which was uncoordinated. So to be honest I don't think these machines are true. Still however, very good punchin! They're great fun and me and my brother have a rivalry to beat each other on this now lol
