I wish I would have seen this video before I nearly burned down My house and ended up with a deep-fried boyfriend instead of chicken!

I was trying to deep fry chicken nuggets in My KITCHEN using cooking oil & a shallow pot. I heated the oil til it boiled (it made sense at the time, I was 18 & I'm NO Paula Deen!) went to drop in the nuggets but the whole pot went ablaze & hot fiery oil was exploding over the kitchen!

Luckily, My boyfriend was there to bravely stomp out the burning oil spots on the floor & remove the fire pot from the kitchen. He ended up with 2nd & 3rd degree burns on his hand, and still wont get over it!

Hmm, don't do this next to anything flammable when you haz your propane tank right next to your deep fryer.

if you ever are frying some fries and it gets super hot and the stiove catches on fire..dont throw water on it because it will only make it worse...use flour....have a happy meal

He left out two very important things: 1) Lower the turkey SLOWLY into the fryer, do NOT drop it in; 2) Have a fire extinguisher (one for GREASE fires) on hand just in case.

That was freaking awesome ! I have unfortunately gone after the poor soul who did set his house on fire doing this as well as more than a few burn runs. I think this should be a nationwide PSA - great job you guys ! Too awesome !
