I was perhaps 18 when I used to dance this song ambraced with my girl. Now I'm a little older... but this remains one of my favorite songs.
this was my lullabye when i was younger. Along with Molly Malone . . . but it was orignally my mom's father and daughter dance at her wedding :) <3

I had this song in my head and just had to listen to it, y' know. My dad used to play Belafonte records. My favorites of his are "Jamaican Farewell," "A Hole in the Bucket," and "Matilda (Live in Concert)"
