As Ecuadorian, I am deeply concern of the incident associated with president Correa; it does not affect the event or the reputation of Ecuador in the international stage. This incident only shows the Mayor’s ignorance in international relations and diplomacy, also his weakness of character to withstand pressure. Citizens of Union City have to think twice before reelecting for office, the weakness of character disqualifies him for Governor of President, because the pressure is greater.

Ecuador has reformed Healthcare and the economy in just 4 years. In places where the poor had no where to go to get checked for illness President Correa has sent mobile hospitals to strategic points in Ecuador so everybody has a chance to get medical attention. Salaries have risen for everyone! Everyone are now entitled to medical dental insurance
