my boat goes really slow, it has a powerful engine, but it is still slow.

@ciukcia989 you should look out for someone that knows how a model boat should be.

dont simply buy a bigger prop, that can overheat your engine!

in the vid, the boat is to slow because it is to heavy in the back. it could be faster if it would stay flat.

@mooiekip4421 krijg je dan niet heel erg snel te maken dat je te veel contragewicht aan de voorkant hebt ? ik heb hier een oude nikko boot van me broertje waar ik een borstelloze motor in hebt gebouwd. was 3 weken bezig om het contragewicht goed te krijgen xD

@christiaan12nl Ja dat is wel ff moeilijk. Zoals je ziet heb ik ook de accu helemaal van voor in de boot gezet. Maar het is nog niet genoeg. De voorkant van de boot word nog teveel naar boven getrokken. Wat je eventueel nog zou kunnen proberen is om as meer verticaal te plaatsen. Zodat de boot niet uit het water word getrokken, en meer naar voren word geduwt.

@mooiekip4421 ja ik denk dat je bij deze boot gewoon een zwaardere romp nodig hebt want ik denk dat ie met deze motor echt veel harder kan. je kan bij hobbyking van die lege rompjes bestellen voor ongeveer 30 dollar. en dan kun je er alles in bouwen.

Did you make a mechanical speed controller? Or was it simply an on/off servo driven switch?

Because on the inside picture I could see one servo with a linkage coming out to what I'm assuming is for the rudder and then another servo with a small linkage going to a small arm inside the boat. Could you please tell me what you did.

move the weight 4ward it willl go loads better and a bit faster because the prop will be pushing along not forcing the boat up .
