Damn, I want the Speed channel! From the little I've seen on YouTube it seems all shows are very professional and straight forward. The host's know what they're talking about, compared to the Discovery Channel, Chip Foose crap. I've loved 60's and early 70's muscle cars my whole life.
It's a cryin' damn shame all those classic Mopars are just sitting there, collecting dust. This is why rich douchebags should be banned from buying classics. If you don't drive them, what's the friggin' point?
drove more today and one more came alive that had not been running for mre than 27 years a yellow 4speed car that is after a new gas tank fuel pump and carbs! Runs terrific and you can almost hear the car saying thanks for getting me out on the road again!! thanks for coming by the museum.
Hey, Hey, Hey, FUCK YOU!!! Albee213!!! 71's were some of the sleekest, sexiest cars ever produced! 66-67's were boxes and 68-70's are common General Lee cars that are just good for getting wrecked on T.V. Don't get me wrong, I'm mopar or no car, but I think you should just go buy a chevy.
@erectojack Its funny how people talk on youtube! If we were in person you wouldnt talk like some trailer trash, you might have said, well sir, I just don't agree. I think the 71 ant eater looks great. So why not have a good day kind sir.
@timwellborn Hey tim, i was just wondering, what is your favorite color combination for a 1971 dodge charger? I have a 1971 charger not an R/T or anything, just a 2dr hardtop. Im restoring it and am wondering what color combination I should go with. I was just hoping for you opinion and would be thankful if you could get back to me, thank you
I wonder how much the original "Dirty Mary Crazy Larry" Charger, the actual movie car, would sell for at auction today? They don't have that car in their collection.
@lonaticc Probably 50 bucks. Wasn't it flattened by a train? No doubt there was more than one... just like multiple challengers in Vanishing Point. Who knows where any of them are?
@mrgears NO, that was the dummy car blown up at the train. The stunt car used in the movie is the ONLY ORIGINAL car left alive today from the movie. It sits in my old friend's backyard. He won't let it go to anybody, & he always has "plans on fixing it". He's said that for the last 25yrs as it still sits today waiting. Needs transmission, few parts and a complete new paint job of course. Still has the rust scratches from the helicoptor on the top & bondo repair from when they hit the red truck.
That nerd owns 23 Hemi Chargers? I mean, that's ridiculous. That's unecessary. He probably drives each individual car no more than a few times per year, when many of us would be thrilled to have one if only for a day...Yes, I'm jealous, but I'm not against being wealthy. I am against people who flaunt their wealth like this, though...
all those cars in this mans collection are very impressive especialy the 1969 superbird, the only car to get banned from nascar.
