Every Major Club In Chicago Banged This Too, The Dj's Here Bang The Threads Out Of This Song, Chicago's Dance Scene Was Equivalent To NYC's Scene, Twins Almost To Say, & A lot of the Artist believe it or not were from Chicago And Detroit & L.A., Majority Of Philly's Vocalist were From Chicago too, House Music Wasn't The Start Of 4On The Floor, But 4 On The Floor Was Originally A Detroit Thing, History Is Important 2 Black Music, On This wise NYC & Chicago Had The Hottest Clubs in The 70's
Miami in the 70s... The Hayloft, Ambassador's Scaramouche, Keith's, The Poopdeck, Uncle Charlie's, Bachelors II, Blind Fox, Las lechuzas, Windward, Tangerine's, Honey for the Bears, Hattie's, Cherry Grove, Limelight, Rum Bottom, The Mutiny, Warehouse... days when we only lived to dance. "O chestnut tree, great rooted blossomer, are you the leaf, the blossom or the bole? O body swayed by music! O brightening glance! How can we know the dancer from the dance?
i remembered my parents playing this when i was younger and always remembered the beat...God Bless the internet...lol this is a classic, love everything about this track
I grown up listen to this kind of music it is a shame they do'nt make music like this no more this is a classic everyone born before 1980 know this song what a great sound..
DJ that was really to create the environment for the house explosion - Ron Hardy. Where Knuckles' sound was still very much based in disco, Hardy was the DJ that went for the rawest, wildest rhythm tracks he could find and he made The Music Box the inspirational temple for pretty much every DJ and producer that was to come out of the Chicago scene. He was also the DJ to whom the producers took their very latest tracks so they could test the reaction on the dance floor
Yes I finally found this version of the song "Love is the Message. Usually it would either be all instrumental or they would just play the second half of the song. By the way I am only 27 years old and I love old school R&B music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. I love disco, funk, soul, and motown. I like today's R&B too but old school R&B music is the best.
Heard this on theradio when I was on vacation in florida a few weks ago, brought back great memories of TSOP, and searched it as soon as I got back.. Awesome "thanks for sharing"
