The title of this song was taken from a write in letters column called "From You To Us" in a music newspaper named New Musical Express. John & Paul wrote this song together in February 1963 while traveling on a bus from York to Shrewsbury in England.
Hey, ThePersuader2007, you nailed it!!! Those people aren't worth talking to. The Beatles have stood the test of time very, very well and their music still sounds fresh. Their is an innocence to their music that is refreshing compared to all the new music. It seems nowadays that every musician is mad at the world.
You nailed it too!!! Everything you said to ThePersuader2007 is EXACTLY the truth!!! Very well put, my friend! I was born in 1955 so I was privileged to grow up watching and listening to The Beatles. Their music always allows me to "shut out" the crummy world we live in go back to the days when life was good, really good. Thank you!!!
Without doubt the greatest band ever,i'm not saying there isn't other good bands, The Beatles are just the best. The sad thing is, from time to time i meet silly people that say . . . . I don't like the Beatles, and when i ask why, they say . . .i just don't,these people aint worth talking to.
