Yes, Liverpool fans did charge Juventus fans and the outcome will remain a stain on the clubs history. However, conflict was really instigated by both sides. Juventus fans are just as guilty for instigating the conflict as Liverpool fans. Besides, LFC fans aren't to blame for the wall collapsing. That was an accident. The game should never have been held there.

Liverpool FC were allocated blocks X & Y. the next block was supposed to house neutral fans, but ended up with Juventus fans. The year before, LFC fans were playing in Rome against Roma and were subjected to missile throwing from Roma fans, ambushes of fans outside the ground etc, typical Italian tactics, and the Rome police did nothing. WHat makes anyone think that Juventus fans did not start the rioting?
