  • So, Exxon has sloppy security on their private property ... so what? The first sport north of there that isn't private could be (likely is) patrolled *in some way*. Border security is clearly porous, but slamming Exxon for their perimeter is pointless. Your perky reporter has a pistol. Does she feel safe against an armed squad escorting trucks? Go back to journalism school. Law capitalism? From anti-capitalist Obama? Some people are just clueless.

  • @PurpleHaze469

You are so silly - this particular property is part of a 2 million contiguous acre area that goes from the banks of the Rio Grande to Corpus Christi. Border Patrol does not stop tanker trucks marked flammable liquids, they don't have that kind of training. All of south texas and west texas are oilfield for 100's of miles from the river inland. Who knows which tanker trucks are carrying dope and which are carrying oil. You can't just pull one over and shine a light in it.

  • @PurpleHaze469

If you want to drive around the checkpoint thru one of Exxon's millions of acres of leases, just pull up in a tanker and the gate guard will open the gate. Tankers are the best because you can pack in almost 10,000 of dope. It's good to have these oil and gas leases available to store marijuana and load the tankers because it takes about 4 hours to do it. You ned privacy and some kidnapped immigrants to do the work. That's the XOM way.

  • Sure...it sounds like America should be billing the Mexican Government for the time & $ spent dealing with their citizens. And when bills r not paid, action from us would be required. Just a idea. Satellites r fully capable of monitoring any vehicle identity on a road, granted weather permitting. This would in turn be passed down to ground units.

  • @HiddenCaveMan You have a point, but we still dont want to turn the country into a police state regardless of who is paying for it.

  • @ImJustKindaHere I'm positive that it's here anyway. The question should be "how do we stop it" It's going to have to start from the bottom with our common sense blue collars. This includes the everyday law enforcement agents patrolling the streets using knowledge passed down from thir own family. Peace, HCM

  • They have plenty of ways to patrol them private ranch roads...via satellite. They just choose who they want to take down at the time. Nice reporting! Stay safe okay. Peace, HCM

  • @HiddenCaveMan

clearly, they aren't choosing to take anyone down around here. It wouldn't be worth it because they are just poor people getting paid to take a load. Putting them in jail never changes anything. How would a satellite know who works for ExxonMobil and who doesn't. So much heavy truck traffic in the oilfield.

  • What a stupid lady! It is not Exxon's job to secure our borders. That is the job of the Federal government. People that enter the Exxon properties need IDs unless accompanied.

  • @rsmith3us

Please refer to sworn affidavits from law enforcement about smugglers using XOM roads on this ranch to bypass the checkpoint - link is in my "about" section on my youtube channel page.

  • "Law enforcement" in America is pathetic. Should call it "Law capitalism"

  • no, we moved, but still go out there sometimes.

  • are you still living on your ranch it looks nice i wish i could visit texas but i dont have my passport yet
