gee , i AGREE 3 anchor people WAY too much there..

they actually stopped the 3-anchor format a few years ago. They had 3 anchors for the morning and late newscasts. WABC current graphics did originiate from the WRAL package altough they've been modify they are still similar. WRAL is also expected to premiere a new newsroom set, graphics and music on Tuesday. As well as a new anchor replacing longtime anchor Pam Saulsby and making Debra Morgan Chief Female Anchor anchoring her former shows at 5 and 6 as well as 11.

CNN has been doing 3 anchors on American Morning. it would be intresting to find out where they adapted the idea from.

I know KPRC tried it in Houston at 10pm and then one anchor was removed. Then I heard this station did it too, and then WMAR in Baltimore did it only on the 11pm and then one anchor was removed too. Then WBNS in Columbus, OH did it as well too, and another anchor was removed and it was only 11pm. It different, but with tight budgets and big salaries anchors I think the late news only needs (2) anchors. It would fit during the 5 & 5:30pm news.
