I'm all for health care for everyone, but it should require education on how to be healthy. The fact that so many people don't see a connection between what you eat and your health boggles my mind. I think the true downfall of this world is lack of education, so much ignorance in this world. But the Elite like it that way, if you are educated, you have power, and if you have power, then you decide things for yourself and once that happens THEY have lost all control over you. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!

WOW!! What happened to calm minds and good thinkers? Media hijacked by politicians. Get real. The votes were barely passed with paper 1.5 feet high. Special deals for 30% of Senators. One state got $300 million for 1 vote! The bill barely passed as the other party totally passed. Why. The US is BROKE. Politicians demonized companies for the votes. The bill is $1/3 Trillion per year. Steal $50 billion per year from YOUR Medicare via reform. All people to pay Surtaxes on health items & much more.

Above and beyond cost, or comparative agendas, this is a "Moral Imperative" for a country with our resources to protect the lives of it's citizens from preventable illness and resulting deaths, just as much as from terrorists or any other outside force! The amount of money collected from citizens for governing has to do at least this much for us!

This is one of the most important issues facing our country. If something good is not done about this issue this time we may never again have another chance.
And for those who think it will cost too much:
How much has our military actions in the last 9 years cost in Dollars, not even to speak of the human suffering those actions have caused? Have the conservatives ever mumbled a word about the cost of those actions? Or done a real cost/benefit analysis?
Health Care is a security issue.
