Terrible video. This band has always fascinated me (the Roth era....after that, the band tanked). Here you have one of the absolute greatest electric guitar players. And within the same 4-piece band is one of the absolute WORST drummers. The guy can't even keep proper time. But....his brother is the leader of the band, so I guess he stays

@Sennanchie they didnt oust mike, he quit to be with sammy, when sammy left van halen, mike went with him, then talked a whole lotta shit about eddie, thus ending any future spot in the van halen band, now that the bands back together, who better replace him than his own son, mike was even interviewed not long ago and said he had no interest in going back with van halen, that he'd rather be with sammy, so there he is, by his own choice.
@jroxx11211 In the book "Red" Sammy talked about that. Sounded like Mike just got fed up with Eddie's antics, which I couldn't blame him for. Neither one of us will really know the "whole truth". But I doubt he talked smack about Eddie. He probably spoke his mind, but never said anything that wasn't true. From what I understand they forced Mike out and he probably wanted it anyhow. So maybe it was mutual. But If I could only believe Mike's side or Eddies, It would be Mikes.

I've seen them with Sammy 4 times and Dave once. And while I'm a much bigger fan of the Dave version of the band, Sam is the MUCH better singer live. I understand that Dave is getting up there in age and can't sing like he once could, but I was pretty disappointed. I am glad that I got the opportunity to see them with Dave, though.

I went to a outdoor concert back in the 70's, forgot which band. Huge wall of Marshals. Walked around back only to see they were ALL empty cabinets except for 1 on the guitar player side of the stage and 1 on the bass player side. lol

They might turn down video quality, but a video shot from a handheld camera in the stands is never "amazing quality", especially with somebody's arm in the frame half the time and the first part of the song missing. I've seen them with Sammy 4 times and Dave once. And while I'm a much bigger fan of the Dave version of the band, Sam is the MUCH better singer live. I understand that Dave is getting up there in age and can't sing like he once could, but I was pretty disappointed. I am glad that I got the opportunity to see them with Dave, though.

I went to a outdoor concert back in the 70's, forgot which band. Huge wall of Marshals. Walked around back only to see they were ALL empty cabinets except for 1 on the guitar player side of the stage and 1 on the bass player side. lol

Don't blame it on YouTube. They might turn down video quality, but a video shot from a handheld camera in the stands is never "amazing quality", especially with somebody's arm in the frame half the time and the first part of the song missing. Let's just be honest here and say you put it in the title to inflate your view count.
