This is one of the oh, so many, of George's songs which gets stuck in my soul. I find myself returning to it over and over to hear its sounds resonate with my soul. I adore it, and all things George
One of George's greatest ever songs. Unbelievable that it wasn't included on "All things must pass" when it came out in 1970. I actually prefer this version to the the one they put on the re-mastered album. Thanks for uploading this wonderful song.
Apparently, on the original track, the only thing George was really happy with was Pete Ham's steel guitar. :) He salvaged the track later for the 2001 reissue.
Good song. But Harrison nixed it. Here's why:
His vocals drop out. And it nicks "The Weight".

You mean Pete Drake's Steel guitar. Pete Ham was the lead guitarist of Badfinger. Both played on ATMP.
