  • This was my 18th b day. 3-19-92. I always remember this performance. Now I see you youngsters looking this up for educational purposes because of some ginuwine song??

  • @GT1004 nothing wrong with that...we couldn't all be 18 at that time, at least we're checking jordan and listening to ginuwine vs. lil wayne and lebron james..:))

  • The man was a rock star and every night out he played in front of a SOLD OUT crowd... Lovin' the old Home Team Sports logo and the Sports Authority jacket the ball boys were wearing!

  • who would dislike it this. this is amazing shit here

  • GO bullets :P

  • Jordan makes it look to easy.

  • We are not worthy!!! Who is?? Who will ever compare to The God of basketball? All Hail!! LOL!

  • 00:42 call me crazy, but that rebound alone makes me think "how can you compare today's players to this guy????"

call me Jordan 4th quarter in '92 :)

  • Look after the rebound Little Traveling

  • Your allowed to take two steps after obtaining the ball even from a pass you can take two steps and the dribble.

  • ginuwine call me jordan 4th quater in 92

  • @triklops good point, fundamentally he's the most solid.

  • If this is my last chance to love you

Im gonna play it like a grown man ought to

If I only got one shot to win you

Then call me Jordan 4th quarter in 92

    ...

i totally love how they added this 2 this song :)

  • looool. I was listening to that song right now & thought I'd look up the game & here I notice your comment & was a bit surprised! I love that he did that as well. :) & i also love that MJ is playing in the background: Black or White) RIP.

  • A SICK STUTTER STEP!

  • BEST FIRST STEP EVER!!!!

  • but w8 i remember those games i was glued on the tv with my boys

  • damn ginuwine lol!

  • and me haha

  • i woulldnt be here if it wasnt for ginuwine.

  • me 2

  • hahaha. neither would I. =)

  • amazin player, the ginuwine does make sense

" if this is my last shot to win you call me jordan 4th quarter in 92 "

    greatest player ever, no doubt.

  • The reason why you and others are a Kobe>Jordan proponent is because you are too young to remember Jordan in his prime.

You were 13 when he won his last title.

  • yes i was. so what? first of all i have been playing all my life. secondly there is a phenomenon out there called video. thirdly after seeing both play, there's just no question kobe is the more developed player. i mean to do what he does while being less athletic than jordan in a time where jordan-type athletes are common while jordan was the only individual save pippen who could dunk from the FT line and bigger/stronger than the rest. kobe is the GOAT. just wait for the final touches

  • Jordan and Pippen were the only ones that could dunk from the FT line? What are you smoking dude? Dr J, Dominique Wilkins, David Thompson these guys I just mentioned have way more Hops than any other player today. You really have no idea what you are talking about. Jordan played in 2003 and averaged just as much as Kobe as a 40 year old man.

  • this video is made in 92, so no dr. j and david thompson couldn't do it then. i dunno that david thompson could do it ever. dominique was a phenomenal dunker no doubt, but ur still missing the point. ur naming marquee players when i can name james white, who is at best a third stringer, could possibly be one of the most athletic players in the league.

i'm sure ur the one who's confused. no, jordan didn't average as much as kobe in 03. kobe was torching his ass just like everyone else.

  • No but he averaged as much as Kobe in 2002. 03 was after MJ had knee surgery? No you're completely confused. Watch an wizard highlight of MJ playing at 40 years old. His postup game is the exact same as kobes in his prime? You think a prime super fast MJ wouldnt do better? Seriously? Have you ever seen Lebrons weak ass drives from the top of the circle? Every time I watch Wade drive its like in slow motion. You're beyond insane if you dont think a 1992 Jordan would rip this league apart.

  • Like I said before. MJ was 40 years old playing the SG. Name one person that puts those numbers up at that age. Hell I'll be amazed if Kobe is even playing at 35. You need to research the 80's man because you have no idea. Who needs athleticism when your PGs are 6'9 and weigh 220 pounds? Hello Magic Johnson. How about Larry Bird whose put up better numbers than Lebron all throughout his career. Better fundamentals dude. Athleticism is more than dunks kiddo.

  • @willsmackyoudown ummm kareem and parish were putting up respectable numbers at 40. still, what's ur point?? r u trying to set up an impossible scenario? is kobe supposed to fast forward to 40 so we can see what he can do?? u have terrible arguments. that's like me saying jordan sucks cuz he didn't make it to then nba at 17 like kobe.

i think u need to research the 80's. i know everything there is to know about basketball. u just pulled a "rule 13." u really have made not one single point.

  • BRO. don't waste your time arguing with close-minded folks. MJ at the end of the day will still be consider the greatest player of all-times. Mj never lost in the finals he has 6 finals mvp's including 3 after being retired for almost 2 years...and check this out....we always talk about things that people do that jordan did or used to do, but we never talk about things that has happen to people that never happened to jordan. no one dropped 53 or 60 on jordan like houston and arena's did to kobe.

  • yep, here bc of the ginuwine song

  • old ass

  • Don't you think that the Ginuwine's song is 4 that vid :

piston chicago jordan trey's for the win 11 nov 1992

    ???

  • LMAO I'm not gana lieI looked this up because of ginuwine's track

  • @Dnice905 lmao me too haha i looked it up cause i was listening to last chance by ginuwine haha

  • @Dnice905 lmao me too

  • @Dnice905 i did too lmbo

  • @Dnice905 Saame Same :P hahaa

If I only got one shot to win you

Then call me Jordan 4th quarter in 92

  • @Dnice905 me too!

  • @Dnice905 Damn Me too xD sick

  • @Dnice905 same here lmao...

  • @Dnice905 SAME MAN.......DWL.....LMAO

  • @Dnice905 so did I ! Lol

  • @Dnice905 me too hahahahahah

  • @Dnice905 hahah im on that tip as well.

  • i juss looked this up becouse of ginuwine's sonq lol

''call me jorden 4th qrt in 92 im gonna do it''

  • Ginuwine's song lol.. that shits a banger.

  • must admit . ii too looked at this cause of ginuwine's quote

  • the defensive rules were much tougher back then. it's siss ball these days

  • This game was on the day i was born! lol

  • Aw sucks for you! you didn't get to watch this awesome game. Lol.

  • i'd braq about that if i were yu.! lmao;

  • ginuwine says jordan 4th quarter in 92

  • that's the bulls pistons game, Jordan hits a game winning 3!

  • lol that's what made me look at this vid

  • It's funny you say that. That's what made me look this up. That very same quote.

  • tats what made me watch this vid lol

  • hhahaha im listenin to his song right now...lol i've heard it a few times tho and i always wondered what jordan did in the 4the quarter of 92

  • mj is the best ever. kobe is raw as fuck nigga go hard but he is not mj

  • haha subway in 92

  • kobe is a great player, but stop compareing him 2 mj. please!!

  • i loved kobe back since 96 yo and its krazy cuz in 97 i said he would reach near michaels status but jordan will forever be the best

  • that one delay of game should have been counted. 53

  • truly amazing...MJ is the definition of basketball

  • People underrate basketball IQ and Jordan is one of the smartest players ever. A double comes at 4:29 or 30 and instead of Jacking up a bad shot like we know who kobe. Jordan drives the ball to the basket. This game is built on the mental ability more then physical.

  • @MJisKingKobesuckss Eat a d!ck hater

  • @MJisKingKobesuckss You suck quite a lot of dick to have made a username like that

  • @MJisKingKobesuckss ya the fizical abilities lets u execute more efectively the mental thoughts in your game

  • Something to take note of:

MJ was avoiding the doubles and traps. He'd dribble AWAY, he'd fadeAWAY, if they cut him off he stopped and popped, he acted before they arrives, he moved the ball to keep the defense honest. He also set up his defender beautifully.

  • well said

  • Remember that the defensive rules were alot different then than they are now. Easier then and harder now.

  • Quite the opposite, actually. There was no hand-check foul or defensive 3-second violations back then.

  • thanks mate!

  • Damn, he scored 35 in the second half.

  • damn nice video.... love vintage MJ

  • d defense cant just react.. mj is just too good.. simply the greatest player ever.. not like other players now who are very over rated!

  • TERRIBLE DEFENSE VS JORDAN

  • There's no zone like Mike's.

  • David Wingate is like the worst player ever to make the NBA. lolz

  • damn phil chenier on the commentary still doin it today! lol

  • One of the most underrated aspects of Michael's game is his movement without the ball. The guy was incredibly good at getting free. That's partly why he got open shots. People need to understand that MJ was a complete offensive player cuz he could drive, shoot the jumper, post up, and move without the ball.

  • You go below the screen against MJ and you're dead.

  • The Bulls went on to win the NBA title that season, over the Portland Blazers, 4-2

  • that's crazy! he didn't miss once the whole game and no one else on his team scored! ha! he was the greatest!

  • stupid, he didnt score every point. This is just clips of him.

  • thats what they want you to think. but my friend...things arent as they seem

  • lol

  • This game aired on WGN. I remember running outside after that game and dunking on my 7 1/2 ft rim acting like Jordan!

  • it don't matter if you're black or white!

  • trivia:

only Home Teams where Michael Jordan did not score over 40 were:

    Raptors = 38 points

    and

    Grizzlies = 29 points

    Simply the greatest!

  • Cause against those teams the Bulls usually blew them out

  • Probably because Jordan didn't have many games over 40 points when the Raptors and Grizzlies were new expansion teams in Canada. The mid-90s Bulls were definitely more spread out than extremely Jordan-dependent.

  • One I noticed from watching all these old tapes is how quickly MJ makes decisions. I hate watching LeBron dribble at the top of the key for 10sec before launching a fade-away three.

MJ gets the ball and attacks or passes immediately, unless he's posting up, when you want to hold it to force the defense to expose their hand.

  • i like that observation...its like kung fu or something. jordan kune do.

  • how many players today could score 50 without the ball in his hands the whole game like he could? none!

  • 9 dayz after i waz born

ironically he was my fathers favorite and mine

  • The highlight of this, is the spin move and dunk on AJ English at the 4:30 mark. That's vintage Jordan!

  • That's too bad although I expirience a hint of that now being a Knicks fan today. Kobe comes to town and you expect a loss but want to see Kobe really perfrom.

  • give him the jumpshot, he'll get fifty. Give him the drive he'll do twice the damage. Complete package along with his defense.

  • It almost sounds like the fans are cheering for him. He destroys people so badly that he has people cheering for him. That's no fun. The teams I love wacthing play Michael are the teams that hate him and the crowds along with them. The Knicks, the Pistons, the Heat. The rivalries are the best.

  • As someone who went to every Bullets game possible that season I can tell you that there wasn't much else to cheer for. The Bullets were awful and the team marketed the other stars. There would be more Jordan fans than Bullet fans. Thankfully the Wizards are pretty good now so that doesn't happen anymore.

  • In 9:00 minuutes of isolated Jordan offence we see: midrange perfection; a great back door spin; and two great pull-up fall-away banks. The bullets announcers are in awe the whole time. (and this a regular season game) Jordan gives fans the chance to saw' I saw M.J. score 50. That simple, that great.

    Know Christ (John17:3)

  • Michael was never, at any point of his career, one dimensional. He could score from anywhere in the court, extremely underrated passer, solid rebounder, a beast on defense. No one has ever had such a complete package.

  • hey march 19 is my bday

  • starks 23.........thanks. '92 was a 'transition year' for MJ. MJ was within the process of transforming himself into a terrific mid-range player with unmatchable in-between game as suppose to his attacking ('84-'91) natural game. Built tremendous upper body strength (bulked up on shoulders, biceps & triceps)in the process of doing so.

  • I agree, but as you can see he got a lot better, everyone would play him for the drive and that year he really came on with the outside jumper. I don't know how some people on here can say he isn't the greatest

  • are you serious? 0 turnovers?????

  • did you see him brush off that fan at the end lol

  • so beatiful

  • nice vids starks, hope u can upload mj vs nique in the playoffs of 93.i believe that is their last time matching up with each other.

  • What a shooting exhibition. Is it just me or is it a baby hook from Jordan at 3:40? It's one of the few time I saw him do that.

  • Wow, great game. That's probably the most relaxed 50 I ever saw! Like a walk in the park. It's as if he didn't even break a sweat.

Another thing I like is how he always comes up with a big rebound/block/steal at the end of the games.

  • Did anyone spin baseline quicker than MJ? I don't think so. That move at 4:30-4:33 is incredible. Thanks for another gem, starks23.

  • Same here, word by word. Thanks starks23,hoops and NBAclassics. Take care..

  • You're welcome guys. Now that I look around a bit, Jordan has at least four 50+ point games without a single turnover. (including this one).

51/11/3 at Washington March 19, 1992 (this one)

    54/14/6 vs Cleveland on March 11, 1989

    52/9/5 vs Charlotte on March 12, 1993

50/6 at Miami on November 6, 1996 (I'll put this one up soon)

  • He also has two 49 point games without a turnover.

    49/13/2 at Philly on March 23, 1988

    49/7/2 at Orlando on February 14, 1990

There's something about March. I guess he's warming up for the playoffs.

  • You have no idea how many times you and hoopsencyclopedia have made some of my bad days a little better by posting these Jordan vids. Thanks a million.

  • thanks starks23 for this vid! damn the man had 0 turnovers!
