I just played this game and totally laiked it. It's awesome. I rate it 4.5/5. Too bad, that sequel nowhere near as good. Played "Bound in blood" and quit it in the first half. Very disappointing.

1980's? The best? I think you're mistaken, Clint Eastwood's era was the 60's-70's, and THOSE are the BEST western movies, especially the The good, The bad, and The ugly with Lee Van Cleef.

Could be the dumbest review I've ever seen. While I think Bound in Blood is better than this one, I think it's a really fun, entertaining game and one of the first video games to give a realistic, authentic-feeling recreation of the wild west. While the platforming sections can be tedious and frustrating at times, they break up the action really well. I like this game alot.

What bothers me the most is that this excellent game gets so many unfairly bad reviews, yet games like Modern warfare 2 , which are 20x dumber, get positive reviews all the time. That means that the reviewers are either maniacal fanboys, or bribed.

I greatly disliked the stealth aspect of this game and it completely ruined it for me. It's far to easy to be spotted because enemies can see you even when you are ducked behind cover or "indoors" (had one enemy spot me through a wall). The beginning is the WORST because you are unarmed and can't shoot anyone back.

Call of Juarez has its "moments". I can't see how anyone would give it more than a high 3/low 4. There are some grating platform moments (the fucking feather!). The aiming system is kind of glitchy. Ray delivers some really cheesy lines. I can't count how many times he says "I am the right hand of God!"

Positives are just like he said - Graphics and Environments. However, the environments are repetitive. The soundtrack is also weak. Red Dead Revolver and Gun are way better IMO.
