@m1rr0w Actually, cats are like people: all of us are not allergic to peanuts and they have different food preferences. If the cat couldn't tolerate citrus fruit, it would show- and he wouldn't want to eat it in the first place or ever again. Cats are quite finicky so if they are eager to eat something, it might mean that their body needs it.  Vitamin C! :-)

I give my three cats a little human food every once in a while, but in moderation. One loves tiny pieces of String Cheese, another loves Ham and my oldest loves any bird meat, Especially Turkey. My oldest was a stray I took in and I think she may have eaten a bird or 2 and still has the taste for it, lol.

I dont mean to burst your bubble on the cuteness overload. But, as a vet, I have to comment on the diet you put your cats on. As cats are natural carnivors, their digestive sytems are NOT suited to digest things like fruit or vegetables. Dogs, however, are omnivors and CAN digest small portions of fruit and vegetables. Fruit and Vegetables are labeled as "healthy" for humans, but it doesn't count for cats. People make this mistake very often. It can cause a lot of problems. Kind regards, a vet

The only human food we give occasionally is boiled unflavored chicken when their appetite is low due to cold or other minor illnesses. The fruits you see in videos were given only once & in very small portion.

@CourtneyGamerGirl A vegetarian/vegan diet isn't even completely healthy for humans. And we have the ability to digest the fibers inside fruits and vegetables. Animals, especially cats, NEED a diet that contains meat. It holds an essential vitamine they cannot make themselfs. Taurine. If they miss out on that, a lot of problems can develope. With dogs I've seen it work a couple of times. But my professional opinion is to keep your pets on a quality diet created for them.

That's incredibly odd. Oranges and orange peel are often used to keep cats away from gardens in case they soil them, and my cat certainly hates citrus smells as well. Guess Cooper is the exception!

Hi i just wanted to ask what kind of food do you feed your kitties on a daily basis? I have a cat myself and she does not eat anything besides kibble which is kind of unfortunate.. because kibble isn't very healthy either! I wish my cat ate watermelon and oranges too :/

@ZhiHa One of my kitties used to not eat anything but kibble too, if you haven't tried it maybe try getting some of the canned cat foods with lots of gravy in them. That was the first way she ever ate canned food, just licking the gravy (but not eating the solid parts). Now she eats lots of different kinds with or without gravy.
