  • Your sheds are better-built than houses!

I don't know about the OSB roof, however.

  • @shawnchong Thank you . We hope that they are better built than a lot of houses that we have seen.As far as the OSB roof , they make it a lot diiferent than they used to. In fact it is approved for and used extensively for dwellings .

  • It would work alot better if you made wood locks that were thick instead of t locks steel they are much weaker than wood ones.

  • @gavinabcdefghi We have found that the T-Locks when properly installed are almost impossible to remove without totally destroying the wood. In fact the 2x4 usualy will break before the joint will.

  • @MrSmelly2u how come u dont use a weight barring runner on the roof front to back for the full trus

nor a header on the window?

  • @MrSmelly2u

Because he built trusses, this eliminates the need for a beam.

  • @jwalker606

MrSmelly2u seems to be talking not about beams or trusses... but lateral support for the trusses.

  • @shawnchong

I see, yeah but that would not be load bearing. The trusses are small enough that they can support themselves while installed, and the sheathing provides sufficinet lateral support after it is installed. That is probably the resaon for no runners.
