Aboriginal meaning the original people of the land (general term- language) I'm not trying to get to specific cause If I didi I would have to be technical with all the nations as there were over 250 original (Aboriginal) nations. 1st nation people around the world are considered aboriginal. Also you only mentioned Queensland and NSW what happened to Northern Territory and Western Australia?
cultural diversity should be celebrated, i was shocked at title but then again. Australians and W.I have cricket in common. either way dance hall to the world. every where u go u will find racist ppl. but i think the majority of the ppl in the world are are over this bullshit. no one is pure we are all mixed. if u think i lie check your family tree.
wtf!! first of all, the indigenous australians are called ABORIGINALS!!! they are not of AFRICAN DESCENDANTS!! and im pretty sure, they came to sydney from the u.s or jamaica (judging by the accent) to dance, and theres nothing wrong with that =) peace, and before you post get your facts right thanks...<3
@TELIAI hehe u doesn´t know where Jamican originated from.. Those are the people were been taken from Africa continent during the period of colonalisim. The same as Hanitian people. For your Information
@TELIAI ...The majority of Jamaicans roots from AFRICA....and none of those people had ah yard accent.........but i do agree, dancing is for everyone...Just Know Where the culture came from.....witht hat note...Big Up Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, R & B, hip hop, Calypso....nuff people like to Diss Black People...but we created a lot of great Art, that we are happy to share BLESS.
@burninkush8618 hey!black people were the first inhabits in aussie!its the europeans that have taken over nowdays. but it is and was still a black country the first groups to arrive came from afrika!
you should feel glad that there are people that love the cultcha. Why the negativity. Lets get the good music n culture to the world, ain't no room for haters..
@djknote72 Actually there is no such thing as "aboriginal" as a language there is koori (which is down nsw) qld (murri) but seriously there is so many aboriginal languages.
If you're educated, then you should know that It was an ignorant comment based on unfounded stereotypes - such as the one that black people somehow are too lazy to seek gainful employment.
no way! DHQ in australia!!! yo i live in this country and i didnt know bout itt!!! when the nex one???
and wait, ppl have propper sound systems here!? i need to get informed! i just thought thais place was ignorant, and there was none of this sorta stuff!!!

bushman? havent heard of that dude in awhile its good to see there is a market for roots reggae these dudes dont really make money other than live shows and commercials in jamaica,
Forreal, thats why I like when they are able to come out here, as yu might of guessed I am of Jamiacan descent living in Australia. Where mi hav nuff links inna jamdown still. Our main goal out here is to spread the awareness of the reggae/dancehall music and W.I cultcha.
Most people in the video are from various countries and backgorunds that live in Australia. The typical Australian accent that you are looking for does exist but that is typically found with Australians that have been in the country for a few generations.
Thats what I figured, thanks for the info anyway but are there actual australians who were born and raised there that are into dancehall as a culture or is it just the imports(people)
Yep theres lots of australians that have lived in Australia for generations that are into Reggae, allot of them are more into the lovas rock or conscious reggae which steams from them listen to lots of BOB, peter tosh and as of today you will find alot of them are into Bushman, Luciano+ more...... You will find that more of the imports are into both Dancehall and Lovas rock music.

Some of us over here are huge dancehall fans, is that such a crime? Well Australia about to be hit next week with a dancehall queen contest like they never seen before, watch out!!!
Thanks educating us on that! I'm Jamaican living in Toronto and I did not know that thier's black in Australia, honestly! not to mention a dancehall music. To me I look at Australia as just being closed off to all sort of immigrants so, I thought only whites resides there.
