The first chord is an F#m, and the 4th chord is a Bm7, just the root notes that are missing here on the 2nd fret of 6th and 5th strings respectively. Keep at it though!
I think the first chord is more an F#m7(without the 5th) than an A. It means that you keep the same position of the A chord, but you put your first finger on the second fret of the 6th string.
Difficult name, but still easy chord, and it allows us to have a better bass line with the chords! ;)
i got it down...but im wondering why do we have to press our fingers down on some of the strings that we dont pluck? like for the first D, we dont need our 2nd finger, but we use it anyways? anyone wanna answer? super curious here :)
@Elliee025 no u r not being stupid, don't say that. You make a good point. They both are D chords but not the same ones. There are different ways to do the same chords, it's not odd at all.
hey:) first time guitar player here! are the repeted chords.. A D A D A D A E? Is that right? is this cycle for both hands? x please get back to me thanks
I CONka'd it as soon as i asked is ok now im doing vocal warm ups to CONka the lyrics too :D will post it as a reply video to Jesse J's who are you :D and thanks so much dude.
We tried to do this as simple and accessible as possible. Basically you strum 3 strings for every chords and the fingering of the chords are pretty simple - focus on the first bit, where we show right hand and left hand part, play it over and pause the video to make sure you're getting it.
We're sure you will get this after a few tries :)

You figured the chords out well, it works just great, but the actual jessie j's guitar player doesn't play it exactly that way.. I couldn't find out what he plays tho... But nice work ;)
Excellent. Thanks !

Asus2 - 002200
E7sus4 - 000200
Asus2 - 002200
Dsus2 - 000230
Repeat again but instead of Dsus2, play the E - 002100.
