Wow! A very unique interpretation. Hers is unlike any I've seen before, and I mean that in a good sense! Once again, great voice and fantastic gestures. I love the way she giggles and touches her face at first, like she's embarassed to be so uncertain, but then she really gets into it. A tour de force!

I was lucky enough to see Ms. Schneider at The Bijou in Philadelphia in 1980. This was after buying her "So Close" and "Let It Be Now" albums(on vinyl!) what an amazing talent she is.

I had the chance to watch this production four times in 1996/1997, because I live near Wiesbaden/Niedernhausen. I have seen all four "german" Normas - Helen Schneider, Daniela Ziegler, Sue Mathys and Christina Grimandi. Undoubtfully, Helen Schneider is the best. Thank you so much for uploading this, giving me the chance to recapture the feelings I had, when I attended the live performance over 10 years ago.
