They meant 15,000 DPS, not a 15k crit (I think).

Regardless, its not a private server--15k DPS is not even all that high for a heroism burst.

I was wearing pretty crummy gear relative to what people have now when I made this video. This was the first day the boss was available on live servers.

The guild is done with hardcore raiding, people didn't want to make alts and to be competitive with a limited attempt system we would have had to have alts for extra runs. Two weeks after we went casual (for a hardcore raiding guild that's equivalent to disbanding), Blizzard announced that they won't do limited attempts again. Awesome.

I still play, look for "Kaligon" on US Deathwing. I don't raid atm, 5s team is nearly top of the Nightfall ladder with better than a 95% win record.

Mage = Arcane Blast*3 Arcane missles then repeat. It's all about gear as a caster DPS

@Boonyapwnsall Arcane Blast stacks to 4 now, so even the most basic rotation would be 4 blasts and Arcane Missiles -.-

Also there are at least a dozen little tricks you can use to squeeze out an extra 10-30% more DPS than a straight Arcane Blast and Arcane Missiles rotation.
